In 1977 The Second City put on an original musical-comedy revue called “Wellsapoppin’” (a play on Helzapoppin’). Some of the stars of it were Shelley Long, Miriam Flynn, and Eric Boardman.
It resulted in Shelley winning a Joseph Jefferson Award for best actress in musical.
@chambersmalone 1) Why does the ink of the newspaper make the photos look like a comic book? 2) Who doesn’t love a good the girl used to be a guy romance story (In 1977 I can only imagine...)? 3) Why is she so amazing?
