Yes, and now that you mention it, I wanted to talk about this.
I've seen and read a lot of fan comments, especially from Wenclair fans, complaining that Emma wasn't alone in the video talking about werewolves.
Why doesn't she have her own video talking about her character and she has to share it with the other actor?
My mind was amazed to see that they didn't understand.
First: The actor will have a new character who joined the show and obviously, they have to promote it
Why did they put Emma with that guy if Jenna and Catherine have their own videos being Psychics?
Second: The Addams family are the main characters of the series and Morticia will have a bigger role in the second season.
We love Enid, but she doesn't exist in the original story.
Those are two good reasons, but... there's more.
The most important reason of all.
Enid and Bruno will be a romantic couple in the second season.
Will we hate him? Probably. Personally, I don't like the character on its own. I don't really like his energy, and he seems more like an antagonist, but we'll see.
Wednesday won't have a romantic interest in the story, but that doesn't mean that applies to other characters, especially Enid.
Jenna was able to make that change for Wednesday because she's the EP, but I don't think she could do the same with Enid from Emma.
Also, we can't forget that Wednesday is still a story for teenagers and adults, so the teenage romance has to be in the script even if the writers don't know how to write it without falling into the usual clichés.
They really need to spend some time looking at the fanfics, there are stories that are seriously better than the original series and it pains me to say it because I love Wednesday.
I think the best part of all is that from this new "love triangle" we can get a lot of great stories for fanfics and if I'm honest, that's what I prefer to stick with.
