hi! do you happen to have any recommendations for blogs, books, or other resources on wendish (vendish/vindish/hungarian slovene) folklore, deities, witchcraft, and folk belief? im currently digging through a lot of misinformation and nonsense pan-germanic neonazi disinformation (yuck), and would appreciate any step in the right direction! if not, thanks anyway, and have a lovely day🌻
Hello there!
Firstly, I'm so sorry that you're having to wade through the mire of neo-Nazi appropriative shite. It's an unfortunately common problem.
I also don't think I'm going to be of much, if any, help here. Most of my knowledge is in Celtic folklore, deities, mythos, etc., - Irish in particular.
Hopefully, tumblr will work its magic and someone will see this and ofter some help. 🖤
Possible names: Balkan Empire Wendish Commonwealth The United Slavic State Independent of EU and by extension US interests, while strong enough to remain free of Russian hegemony.
" She comes again, a part of the fog, drenched, in the reed haze of the meadowlark's borders. The Wendish mother of the flocks, the old one, with gaping breasts; at the edge of the ponds, the dark-eyed muddy waters, feet dug in the earth which is my memory. "
