I never thought the place I grew up would end up being one of the worst nightmares I’d have to go back to.

GROWING UP IN ELLISVILLE...

Wendy was born the second and last child of the Kendrickson family. Her older sister was born six years before her, and was none too pleased when the magical life of being an only child was suddenly ruined for her. Since the day Wendy entered this world, her life has always been a competition with her sister Darla, and for the first sixteen years of her life, she’d always been left in the shadows. Her older sister was a goddess among men, the exact definition of beauty and grace. It didn’t take much for her to get exactly what she wanted, at half the effort that anyone else had to put forth to get it. Wendy was always considered the smart child, but also the plainer one. She excelled in school, the only thing that Wendy ever managed to trump Darla in, but she was never satisfied. What Wendy craved that her sister had always managed to get without trying, was the attention of others. Specifically of the male persuasion.

Eventually, the younger Kendrickson learned how to gain attention through scheming and manipulation. She used her brainpower for bad, and it wasn’t anything that didn’t go unnoticed by her parents. Worried that their child was going down the wrong path, they looked to their community and noticed a wonderful girl of great standing, and pure in nature. Raeanne Lewis. She was exactly the kind of person that Wendy’s parents needed to get their youngest daughter back on track. And so, the young and troubled child was quickly introduced to the rest of the group as the youngest and newest member, eventually being accepted through the insistence of mama bear Rae herself.

To say that Wendy managed to get her life entirely in order once joining the infamous group would be a lie, but she did find a way of hiding her skeletons better. At the age of fourteen, Wendy’s issues with her awkward and less attractive physique led the girl to anorexia. She was still fighting to compete with her sister’s natural beauty, and being thin always seemed to be at the top of everybody’s list when it came to being considered beautiful. Even when she reached the age of sixteen, and she found herself blossoming into a more radiant flower than she could have ever dreamed of, she couldn’t get herself to kick the disgusting habit.

Only one person ever knew about Wendy’s problem, and it didn’t come out by her own free will. Rae had taken notice of the girl’s lack of appetite, and continuous excuses of having eaten a big meal before meeting up with any of them. Eventually, the red head caught the young girl in a lie and forced her into confessing. The two of them attempted to work on the issue together, so long as Rae promised not to tell her parents. They slowly worked their way up, getting Wendy to eat small snacks, and then small meals without feeling like she had gained a hundred pounds.

All of that work went south when Wendy turned 17 and her sister came home with a fiancé. She regressed into her old habits that she’d once thought were in her past, and she found her old manipulative and scheming ways to surface as well. Her sister still managed to have everything that Wendy ever wanted, and there was only one solution that she could find logical at the time. Steal Brian from her, the man her sister had promised to marry. At first, the effort seemed futile, Brian only pushing Wendy’s advances off as childish flirting. But finally, a month after they met, Wendy found herself successfully seducing the man, and giving her virginity away to someone she didn’t truthfully care about.

The moment that Rae found out about the situation, including the fall back on all they’d worked with for her anorexia, she decided to take things into her own hands. She told Wendy’s parents of their daughter’s illness, and requested that she go to a rehab facility before going on to college the next year. Wendy went through with it, going to a place where she could work on her illness in the summer after she graduated high school. But it wasn’t without a now bitter attitude towards one of her longest running friends. And once she moved out to Princeton to get her education in business, she never looked back at the town that now held nothing but bad memories for her.

WELCOME HOME...

Wendy emerged from the rehab a changed woman. She was now 18 years old and ready to get on with her life, build a future that didn’t involve her perfect sister, or her (thought to be) backstabbing friends. When it came to deciding a major, Wendy decided to go with the one thing she knew best. Getting under people’s skin to learn what they want, and give it to them in a way that they can’t refuse. Business.

She never contacted any of her past childhood friends, never feeling like she owed it to them since they hadn’t bothered to do the same. Except for Rae. She always tried to check in from time to time, make amends for what she did and explain that it was the right thing to do at the time. Wendy always ignored her, continuing to hold the bitterest of grudges against the girl, even though she knew she was right.

When her sister ended up getting married to Brian, having never told anyone but Rae of the affair she had with him, she finally felt like she had a clean slate again. She didn’t attend their wedding, claiming that it was because she had too many finals to deal with, but in actuality she just didn’t want to see the man who still sometimes tried to have a relationship with her. She had finally won in something other than school with her sister, and she didn’t feel anything but guilt and remorse for it. Now that Brian and Darla were married, she’d never have to worry about seeing them again, and reliving the horror of her past ever.

But all good things must come to an end, as Wendy learned in the second semester of her senior year at school. She received a phone call from her parents, informing her of the tragedy that had occurred to two of her almost forgotten friends. Rae and Danny had died in a car crash. Instantly, Wendy was overwhelmed with sadness, nausea, and regret for never making amends. She had to do all that she could to make up for the childish way she acted in the past, even if it meant that Rae would never be able to actually see or hear the apology.

When she touched down in Ellisville, the first time in four years since she left, she found herself overwhelmed with the feelings of all she had experienced growing up. The old friends she used to hang out with, now back for the same reason that she was; The parents that still looked out for her health, even though she’d been in the clear for four years; the past lover that she wished she could erase from her past; and the sister who had unknowingly sparked it all, now pregnant with her first and ready to show off the perfection of her life once again. After working so hard to get her life in order, Wendy wasn’t sure how much fight she had left in her to keep it that way.

Short Bio: 

Lives in very small town in the country side in the United Kingdom. She's 18 years old. She's a shy and quiet but has a sense of humour. She self conscious about her appearance and not very confident with herself or the choices she makes. She's comfortable in her own skin but not confident enough to do what she's always wanted to do or what she's wanted to say.  

Because sehs' so shy, she only has a handful of friends and stays with them. She's not one to float around or have the courage to meet new people. Because she doubts herself as someone that she'd want to be seen with.

Her dream has been to act and sing, she's not sure if she's very good at it and that's something that is stopping her to pursuing her dream. She doesn't want to embarrass herself or her family to pursue something she's not good at. 

Conflict: 

The conflict that she is facing is that she is moving out of the house soon and is nervous that she won't make very friends. So she is using youtube specifically to try to get more confident and more comfortable with herself and wants to expose herself on a very public level.

Goals with the Websites:

All of the websites I chose will show a different side of Wendy. I chose the previous 4 websites because they can 

Youtube is the main goal, she's going to create a year bucket list. A list she'd like to complete before the year is over. Many of these things I will reflect over what's going to happen to me in real life. For example, I will be going to both Florida and Vancouver over the year so I can say she's travelling somewhere.

Twitter & Vine are webfaces that will show her witty written aspect for Twitter, and shows a little more of her personal life and how she thinks on a day to day basis. She uses Twitter to express little thoughts and interests. And she will use Vine as a video version to express herself of little moments in her life. 

Tumblr will show her interest through photographs. There will be photographs of her and things that she likes, things she wants, places she wants to go. It's will be portrayed as her interface of dreams. 

Climax:

Wendy was a shy person and never had a relationship. One day when she's going to the nearest cafe so she can upload a video. She bumped into a guy that she immediately found attractive. She didn't expect the guy to offer her to buy her a new cup of coffee because this was England. Not Canada, no one was that nice. 

Wendy has always found a love in Canada, and since both her parents are Canadian. She'd always wanted to move away from home and back to the roots that her parents were from. She applied to Ryerson University in Toronto Canada, hoping that she could be able to live a Canadian life like her parents did. 

Crisis: 

She's been accepted to Ryerson. 

And she started to really like the guy.
