Where did you get your Capable goggles?

I bought them at a comic book store and they were basic cheap “steampunk” goggles, but I painted them and stitched them to match Capable’s :D

So I'm new to the DCU and I read all of new 52 Nightwing and Batgirl- I don't know where to go from here, I want more Dick and Babs but I get overwhelmed trying to find things. Any titles you can suggest? And what's the new Batgirl run called and any thoughts on Grayson?

And the new Batgirl run doesn’t really have a name. I guess you do what you normally do which is add the writer’s name to it? The Fletcher/Stewart run?

137. How tall are you?

5’9”-ish (~175cm), it’s been a while since I got measured last.

138. Curly or Straight hair?

Straight, mostly. My hair is really fine, so it tends to turn up at the ends, but that’s really the only curl I see.

139. Brunette or Blonde?

I assume this is asking about my preference in partner? The question uses the feminine forms of those words, so while it’s heteronormative, I’m guessing that’s where it’s going with that.

I tend to go for darker hair colors, overall

140. Summer or Winter?

Neither, I fucking hate both of them, lol. If I had to pick one, I’d say winter, because the cold doesn’t bother me, I just hate snow. But summer is just one humid, hot, sweaty-gross mess.

141. Night or Day?

I’d go with night. Afternoons, evenings, and nights are my favorites. I love mornings, too, but only when I’m in them willingly, which doesn’t happen too often.

142. Favourite month?

October, easily. I LOVE October. Between the pumpkins, Halloween, Autumn, everything, it’s the perfect month for a freak like me.

I was seriously only 4 hours away from being an October baby, which I still think is a little unfortunate.

143. Are you a vegetarian?

*casually laughs self into a coma*

One could say no, but that word isn’t nearly strong enough

144. Dark, milk or white chocolate?

All. I can’t think of a single chocolate I haven’t enjoyed. I’ve been hesitant to try the kind with peppers in it just because it seems really weird. I promise you, though, that eventually my curiosity will overcome the hesitance, and in all likelihood, I will probably like it.

145. Tea or Coffee?

I like both, but I’d go with Tea, just because I’m really picky about my coffee. Starbucks and all those other big coffee chains are garbage (mind you, the drinks still taste pretty darn good, but the coffee itself is awful - that’s why they add so much to it to make it taste good. It’s not the coffee they do well, it’s everything else.), and the small shops that serve the “shade grown, fair trade, organic” stuff serve coffee that smells and tastes like foot.

On the other hand, I’ve never made nor had home-brewed coffee that I didn’t like, and there are a few breakfast restaurants that serve pretty good coffee. Around here we have a small chain called the Waffle Shop that has wonderful coffee. I always have a couple of cups when I go there.

146. Was today a good day?

My past WEEK has been nothing but endless work and moving, which has been kind of awful. Mood-wise, I’ve been doing pretty good, but physically I’m exhausted.

No I don’t, but I would do anythingto be proven wrong. I’m SUCH a nerd for creepy and supernatural stuff, but I’m far too skeptical to be convinced of anything. I can think of few things that would make me happier than to find out I’m wrong.

I’m at work, so I have no books around me, but luckily I have a book of ghost stories (given to me by wendybythewindow) in my backpack!

Love love love your Disney/PR crossovers! Any chance of a Peter Pan and Wendy one?

I think if I were to do anything from Peter Pan it'd be Peter and Tink, or Wendy and one or both of her brothers. But I really don't want to put Peter in a Jaeger because the whole thing about him being a forever-child is kind of his thing, to take that away would really ruin the character to a point where I wouldn't like it myself. 1: What would you name your future daughter?

I’d probably name her either Maeve or Katerina. I’m obsessed with those two names :’D

11: Could you go for the rest of your life without drinking alcohol?

Yes, definitely. I’ve never been drunk and I don’t really plan on being either. I don’t need alcohol to have fun, so :D Yup. I could definitely go without drinking alcohol for the rest of my life ;)

31: Do you wear the hood on your hoodie?

Actually, only when I’m cold or when it’s raining. For some reason all the coats I buy have no hoodie whatsoever. So that’s the only time I’ll wear my hoodie, because I always feel much too bad ass-y when I wear it. Like, I’m small and fluffy and I only turn in something to feared when angry. I don’t want old people to turn away from me in fear, screaming “SCARY YOUTH APPROACHING” to their hearing impaired companion.
