hectic

my great uncle arrives tomorrow afternoon, he's flying over from melbourne to surprise my grandma for her 80th birthday this weekend

he's staying with us for the week, and in anticipation we've been rushing to move me in to my brother's old room and set up my old room as a spare room

sealing, painting, scrubbing, varnishing

and we're nearly done

tonight i'm going out, so mum and dad will have to manage the rest on their own, yesterday i painted all four walls and in doing so, i managed to pull a muscle in my lower-right back

i can't turn, twist, bend over or sit down without this sharp pain that takes my breathe away every time i move

and if i'm not fully mobile by saturday night i'm going to lose my shit
