Adjusting his name tag he then paused to fix something on the shelf he was standing beside until he was interrupted by a child wanting to trade pins, kneeling down he held out his lanyard, bright and eager to trade a kermit pin for a oswald chaser. Looking up he noticed a blond, a fellow cast member that he knew with or without his wig, and so he stepped over. “What? You love this place so much you have to come in on your day off, too?”

He reaches out, holding the berry out for his magikarp to take as he settles in the grass. Yes, they should be training more, but the way his stomach rumbles is enough so that they need to stop; what he isn’t expecting is the black and yellow pokemon coming up to try to ATTACK his defenseless, pathetic pokemon. “Hey!” he yelps out, throwing himself between his magikarp and the strange umbreon, glaring at it. “You leave him alone!” Anger colors his words and he scoops up his pokmon, “Get out of here, you mangy...” he trails off as he sees his trainer. “Call your pokemon off!”

💀 - What are they afraid of?
Being imperfect, not living up to the expectations of those he cares about deeply (his parents, friends, gladion). There are so many people he doesn’t want to let down. ever. it’s so important to him and that’s probably his biggest fear.
He also fears losing those closest to him, especially gladion. He did once and he managed to deal with it, but he’s not sure he could handle it a second time.
