Surprise surprise, I still have Wolfheart brainrot. But I don't think people understand just how funny and absolutely delicious this could've been. Like ok, the irony of a werewolf who is deathly afraid of wolves is so peak. But just the comedy gold banter we could've gotten between her and Astarion would be worthy of a series on its own, turning the vampire vs werewolf rivalry trope on its head into some really juicy conversations. I reckon she'd also have even more in common with Durge.

It would’ve also been a more compelling secret that she’d initially want to hide from you instead of her reveal that she's a Sharran, which is honestly the worst kept secret in the camp right after "Astarion is a vampire".

They didn't make Shadowheart a sick fucking werewolf because they knew it would've been too powerful. She would've been to lesbians what Astarion is to straight women. This would've reignited all the sleeper Twilight fans and the mania would've rivaled the Edward vs Jacob wars. Larian saw this future and decided against it. Because they're cowards.

Heart thundering at the low groan it earned her.

“I wouldn’t mind.”

“Prove it.” Shadowheart tilted her head, their breaths mingling. Noses brushing together.

Shadowheart has a mission, an important mission from her Dark Lady and neither a mindflayer parasite, her sudden fluffy self nor the hot amnesiac tiefling will stop her from finishing it. She'll finally prove herself worthy.

I've been staring at your werewolf shadowheart and virran (is that how you spell it? Idk) and pls talk about more about that form shart is in, it looks interesting (Once again, you may info-dump)

Also! What kind of werewolf traits does shadowheart have? I'm not well versed in werewolf stuff, so idk what anything means with this au.

The way I draw SH in that specific drawing is just a cutesy way of showing she's a werewolf, it’s not really a form I HC she can shift to. She can half shift as one of her forms tho, It’s similar to how she looks in that piece, just minus the ears and tail, it’s more of a Hollywood Wolfman look

As for werewolf traits, I go with the ‘Shar suppresses her lycanthropy’ route, so pre enemy of Shar path it’s just subtle things like longer canines, a slight increase in body hair (not particularly noticeable as a half-elf), and minor irritability during the full moon

Post abandoning Shar is when things really start showing, besides the whole being able to shift into a wolf thing, there’s a more noticeable increase in body hair, muscle, and appetite (mainly for meat) She also develops a tapetum lucidum (the thing that makes animals' eyes glow in the dark and helps with their night vision) There are some minor personality changes too like a slight increase in protectiveness, territoriality, and aggressiveness depending on the phases of the moon
