Omg so I have that they know he's a werewolf before azog. BUT it is the first time they see him shift, so there is that same moment of "WOAH WHAT THE FUCK" because let's be real they thought he turned into a pomeranian or something. The rest is pretty spot on yup. I was thinking the wargs are more thrown off because they think he's one of them for a second (werewolves being a fave creation of Sauron and all that) and I mean you don't need to speak wolf to raise an eyebrow at Bilbo all standing over Thorin's prone body snarling/swinging Sting around.
