Brian gets very irritable and restless during the month of october.  It was the month he was bitten and became a werewolf, back when he was teaching in london. 

His mood is all over the place, going from deadly quiet to extremely happy to snapping at anyone who looks at him.  He has to stay with Dan for the month cause Dan is the only one who can keep his emotions stable, especially when he involuntary transforms. 

The last time he transformed was after a concert and all the smells and surrounding people made Brian go into a panicked frenzy.  At risk to himself, Dan wrapped his arms around Brian’s large form and he immediately calmed down, taking in his partner’s familiar, safe scent. 

Since then, Brian has depended on Dan to help him.  Brian usually hates depending on other people but when Dan calls him his ‘good puppy’ he can’t help but smile or stop his tail from wagging.
