Jisoo
Jisoo steadily closed the distance between the two of you, barely focusing on breathing as she tried to absorb every single detail of your face and body to memory, your eyes shining in confusion as Jisoo’s direct approach to you. The two of you barely knew each other, only from the mention of others were the two of you aware of each other’s existence, but this was the first meeting ever between the two of you, and it was one which had competently altered Jisoo’s entire way of life.
She stopped when she was only inches away from you, much closer than somebody first meeting you should be, but Jisoo could not help herself. Her nose always twitched at how sweet you smelt, a lingering scent of soap on your skin which was almost begging for her to kiss. But she could not, not yet, it would not be right, especially since you probably did not know what was happening to Jisoo right now, nor your friend who had brought you to the pack meeting.
You were unaware of what they were, but you were certainly going to learn. Often when one is the imprint of one of the wolves in the pack, they learnt of the secrets of the pack, and Jisoo had the sole responsibility of informing you of everything, not that she minded. The pack was a part of Jisoo, just as you were now starting today, and it was going to become a part of your life due to Jisoo’s new involvement in it.
If you accepted her, that is.
Swallowing thickly, she offered a hand to you, eyes still locked with yours with a certain intensity which you could not decipher.
“Hello.” She husked, her voice rougher than usual due to the sensation of the imprinting had on her body. Your friend, her pack mate, glanced between the two of you and then focused on Jisoo’s thoughts, eyes widening as they realised what had occurred. They cleared their throat.
“Y/N...this is Jisoo, the one I am always telling you about.”
They spoke about Jisoo to you, Jisoo becoming elated to the news as that meant that she was not a 100% stranger to you, as you knew more than most would upon a first meeting. You blinked at your friend’s sudden speaking, breaking the eye contact between you and Jisoo to glance at them before locking eyes with Jisoo again. Your tongue poked out to lick your lips, the action not going unnoticed by Jisoo before it retreated back into your mouth as you cleared your throat.
“Nice to meet you Jisoo.” You said, your voice a bit deeper than she expected as you reached for Jisoo’s hand, carefully holding it gave you gave it a small shake.
The feeling of your palm pressed against hers sparked a type of warmth which could not be compared to the kind that she is used to. Any comforting warmth by a fire or by a blanket on a cold day could not compared to the warmth of your body. It was as if she was experiencing sensation all over again, the sensation of touch and its connection to one’s sole, and it was all because of a single handshake by you. Jisoo couldn’t help but tighten her grip on your hand as she shook it, lingering because she did not want to let go.
“It’s nice to meet you too. I...have heard a lot of things about you.” She confessed, unable to let go even though the two of you held hands much longer than you should of. And yet despite of it, you didn’t try retract your hand, you just continued to let Jisoo hold it. You let out a nervous laugh, glancing down at the ground, breaking eye contact with Jisoo again.
“I hope only good things.” You confessed, glancing back at Jisoo with a nervous smile, the sight of it making Jisoo’s heart hammer against her chest. She nodded.
“The best things.” She confessed, uncaring of what her pack mate had complained about you before, forgetting it entirely.
She could find no fault in you, no matter what you believe or her pack mate, you were perfect to her, and in any way she can and you would allow her to, she will show you how perfect you are, how perfect that you were for her and that you never had to change because to her, you were perfection already.
As you smiled, Jisoo felt her entire world recenter on it, it being the most beautiful thing she has ever seen in her entire life. She will strive to make sure that you are only smiling, because you looked beautiful doing it. Nothing else could compare to you smile, not even some renowned painting by artists like Picasso or Van Gogh, to her, the only thing she could admire that could touch her inner soul was your smile, and she was going to try be the reason behind every single one.
“...Do you think I can have my hand back?” You asked, glancing down at your linked hands with Jisoo, causing her to look down at them herself. Flushing, Jisoo released your hand but made no movement to step away from you, still standing close. Your friend and Jisoo’s pack mate cleared their throat again.
“Umm, well since you’ve met Jisoo, how about she shows you around the place? You can meet the others later.”
It was a big deal for a wolf to meet their imprint and future mate, and they gave a knowing glance at Jisoo to hint at their attempt, something which she appreciated. While you glanced at your friend in confusion, since they were practically leaving you with a girl you barely know, Jisoo flashed them a smile before reaching for your hand again, gently touching the back of it which made you look back at her.
“I promise I won’t bite.” She teased, winking at you which just made you chuckle. You moved to take Jisoo’s hand, making electricity spark through her body.
“I will hold you to that.” You teased back, making Jisoo’s smile widen.
“You can hold me to anything.” She promised, leading away to show you around the area and get to know you even further.
Jennie
Jennie ducked her head into the cave, immediately making out your figure as you sat in the rock pools, a place you often went to when you needed to think. The others were out searching for you, alarmed by your sudden departure from the dinner where the two of you had met again after your discovery of your connection Jennie, someone whom you had last seen when the two of you were children.
The two of you were childhood friends growing up, but then you moved away and the contact just became lost between the two of you. It did not affect Jennie as much as it should have, especially since she had all her other friends to keep her company, and when she eventually become a full member of the pack, you all but became a lost memory to her. But then you returned, visiting as one of your friends in town was getting married and you had gotten an unexpected invite, and the two of you met again when you came to visit her parents home to see them again.
And that is when Jennie’s entire world completely shifted.
No matter how much Jennie had learnt about imprinting from her other mated pack mates, experiencing it herself was an entire earth defying feeling. Everything she knew became irrelevant because now you were everything she needed, the very person who could make her feel as tall as a tree or as low as a pebble on the ground. You had a power over her that no one else has ever had, aside from the alpha, and it was one which she welcomed because it came from you.
But your reaction was not exactly the most positive, something which Jennie was partly to blame because she was unable to restrain herself on getting close to you. She did not force herself onto you, but she was rather...possessive on being close to you, especially since it was the first time seeing you ever since the two of you were children. Her parents had all but forced her out the room to speak to you, going to the extreme to call for two of her pack mates to drag her out the out to prevent her going back to you, something which Jennie did not allow easily.
You weren’t there when she was eventually allowed to return home, going back to town with the newly acquired knowledge of what you were to Jennie, and what exactly the entire community that Jennie and her family were a part of. Jennie immediately wanted to chase after you, but her parents prevented her from doing so, telling her that you would return in your own time as you were revealed to a whole new different world. Even though everything in her entire being told her to go search you instead, she adhered to her parents words.
You had to come back, especially since you were now connected to Jennie in more ways than one. And you did, but then it eventually lead to words getting exchanged between you and one of her pack mates who had happened to be an ex of hers, which resulted in your storming off. Jennie all but wanted to rip the head off of her ex for angering you, but she had more important things to deal with, which was you. Despite not being alpha, she ordered everyone to help her find you, which they did and it did not take long for Jennie to eventually find you in the cave near the beach, a place the two of you often used to play growing up.
“Y/N?” She called out, walking slowly towards you while your back faced her and you were staring at the mouth of the cave which welcomed the sea water. You didn’t say a word to her, not even turning to look back at her as Jennie walked towards you until she was finally behind you. Jennie’s throat was tight in despair, knowing that you were upset and that she was partly the reason for it, but she tried to speak to you in an attempt to comfort you. “I’m sorry about what happened, if I had known that they would act like that, then I would have-”
“Don’t.” You interrupted, the single word immediately making Jennie’s mouth snap shut as she stared at the back of your head intensely, hoping to hear your speak more, or even for you to turn and looked at her. But you didn’t, instead you remained looking out at the mouth of the cave, your back tense while thoughts swirled in your head, things which Jennie all but craved to know.
Not wanting to upset you any further, Jennie didn’t say another word but she also didn’t leave. She remained behind you, standing and purposely ignoring the calls of her pack mates as they continued to to search for you, unaware that you had already been found by her. Jennie didn’t think of anything else but you, and the possible things she could say to you when you were eventually ready to talk to her, hoping that you would be willing to listen to her by then.
She was unsure how long time passed with the two of you just remaining in the cave without speaking a word, but her head immediately perked up when she heard your voice again.
“Did you know that it would happen when we were kids?’ You asked, not looking back at her yet but clearly directing the question at her. Even though you weren’t looking at her, she shook her head.
“No. We only know once we meet someone after we are...full members.” Jennie lingered, unsure on how much you knew from what her parents had told you.
You then slowly turned around, looking over your shoulder with furrowed eyebrows, gracing Jennie with your face that made her heart immediately flutter and preen at finally being your centre of attention.
“How do you become full members?” You asked, making Jennie duck her head slightly before answering.
“...When we first transform.” She confessed, looking back at you warily, unsure how you would take the news. You stared at her, long and hard, before finally speaking again.
“...When did it first happen for you?”
Recognizing the line that you were tossing her, Jennie grabbed it with both hands as she began to tell you about her first transformation, and continuing to answer the following questions you had afterwards as the two of you began to reacquaint yourselves, catching up on everything which had happened in your respective lives since being separated.
Chaeyoung
Chaeyoung watched you as you walked around her room, idly tracing every surface that you walked past while you eyes curiously danced around every decoration she had set up on her walls. She never grew out of putting up posters of her favorite bands and singers, so she couldn’t help but flush at the boy band posted she had at the head of her bed, your eyes lingering on it before you eventually turned back to look at her with a small smile.
“Cute room.” You teased, your tone light which made Chaeyoung smile through her blush.
“Thanks, I know it is kind of dorky but-”
“It’s not dorky at all. It’s charming, very much like you.” Even though the words were light, they had a great affect on Chaeyoung as she couldn’t help but preen at the compliment, internally dancing on the spot as you walked to the edge of her bed and took a seat, smiling at her before patting the spot next to you. “Care to join me?”
She was not going to turn down the invitation, scurrying over to you to take a seat beside you, leaving some space between the two of you to give you some comfort, even though she really wanted to close it. Neither of you said anything for a while, simply letting the companionable silence linger between the two of you as you continued to gaze around at her room while she silently watching you, unsure if she had to break the silence or not. Eventually you turned back to her and smiled.
“You don’t need to be so nervous Chae, it’s just me. Nothing has changed.” You said, making her laugh before she glanced down at her lap, twiddling her fingers together.
“You say that, and yet...” She glanced back at you, hinting at the change which has occurred between the two of you which was earth-defying to Chaeyoung. It has altered her whole entire reality, her whole sense of being, and despite the two of you being friends before, you have become much more to her, in more ways than one.
“Chae...” You reached out and touched her hand, covering it with your own while you looked at her with steady eyes. Chaeyoung’s heart soared at the contact, her eyes immediately glancing down at it before glancing back up to lock eyes with you, the distance between the two of you sparked with certain electricity which has never occurred before. “Nothing has changed. I’m me and you’re you. This thing between us...it doesn’t change anything.”
“Y/N-” She started, but you cut her off.
“My feelings for you has always been obvious, and I thought that I would never have a chance with someone like you, but now since...this happened...I can’t help but call it a lucky blessing for me.”
The two of you were friends at school, not the closest of friends but friends nonetheless, but the two of you hardly saw each other outside of school since the two of you had your own duties to do, you doing your part-time job and extra studies while Chaeyoung worked within her own pack community, shifting not too long ago. She was gone from school for a month, needing to adjust to her new way of life as a full werewolf, but the second she stepped back into the classroom and locked eyes with you for the first time, Chaeyoung was done for.
“Y/N...” Chaeyoung was unable to say anything else but your name, the very name of the person who she was destined to be with, to love and protect until her last breath. You smiled at her, the corner of your eyes cutely crinkling to display your genuine happiness at the turn of event in both of your lives.
“I’m happy about this Chaeyoung, like I said, nothing has changed between us.”
“But I love you.” Chaeyoung slipped, unable to restrain her true feelings for you anymore.
Her words had a pleasant effect on you, making her smile when she saw you suddenly flush at her easy confession, this time being the one to break eye contact as you glanced down at your lap, suddenly self-conscious. Deciding to be the one to take initiative, she reached out to cup your chin and turn your head back to face her, a soft smile of her own flashed to you.
“Don’t look away, I like seeing your face.”
“...Like or love?” You teased lightly, humor always being your go to when you got nervous. Chaeyoung smiled as she realised your chin only to cup your face, stroking it gently with your thumb.
“Love. Always love.”
You chuckled, but you leaned into Chaeyoung’s touch, making her wolf arch in glee over the fact you enjoyed her touch. Deciding to take it a step further, Chaeyoung leaned in until the two of you were pressing your foreheads against each other, eyes locked in a gentle gaze.
“No matter what Y/N, I will try my best to make you happy.” She confessed, which made you smile in return. You gently bumped her forehead with your own.
“I believe you.”
And Chaeyoung smiled at that, lacing the hand on her lap with yours and giving it a gently squeeze while the one on your cheek shifted down to cup the side of your neck to keep you in place. Checking your eyes to see if there was any hesitance, Chaeyoung slowly leaned in and closed the distance between the two of you, meeting your lips in a gentle kiss to seal her promise to you.
Lisa
Lisa wrapped her arms tightly around your trembling body, tears soaking her shirt but she didn’t care because the only goal in her mind was to comfort you. Your face was pressed into her chest and you were clinging to Lisa as if she was you life line, and in a way, she was because she was the only one who knew exactly what you were going through and wouldn’t judge you, because she knew you the best out of everyone.
“I just can’t believe that they...hic...would do it today of all days...hic...hic...”
Today was the anniversary of your father’s death and Lisa knew just how hard it was for you today, but your lover, or rather ex-lover, made it worse by literally breaking up with you at the cemetery as you were paying respects to your father. To make matters worse, they abandoned you to leave for their own reasons, literally stranding you with no ride home, or phone because you did not expect to had needed it.
You had walked all the way to Lisa’s house, your figure greeting Lisa when she had opened the door, eyes fall of tears with your face red and puffy as you all but lunged for Lisa, sobbing into her body while her arms immediately wrapped around your body. She had carried you to her room with ease, giving the two of you the privacy to just let loose entirely, and the two of you have been in there for a long while, with Lisa stroking your back and whispering comforting words to you while you continued to cry.
“I knew that we were having...hic...issues but...I didn’t think that...hic...they would break up with me.”
While you clutched at Lisa’s body, consuming the warmth and comfort that she was providing, Lisa couldn’t help but glare at the wall of her bedroom over your head, her chin resting on top of it. She was furious. Not at you, never at you, but at you ex-lover who selfishly broke your heart on the worse day ever for you. She wanted to rip their head off, to make them pay tenth fold for hurting you. But she snapped out of her rage when she heard your next words.
“Just...why...hic...hic...am I really so unlovable that they would leave me-”
“No.” Lisa cut you off before you could continue your sentence, pulling back and sliding her hands to your face so that she could cup your cheeks, staring directly into your eyes as she practically growled her words. “Never, ever believe that. Not for a moment. You are the most perfect person in this world. Even more perfect than any deity, you are perfection, you are lovable. You are everything.”
Hearing you question your own self-worth killed Lisa in the worse possible way, as if a knife has been stabbed repeatedly in her body and leaving an acidic burn behind which she desperately tried to elevate. To Lisa, you were the best possible thing ever, and she is not just saying that because the two of you have been best friends ever since you were children, but because you were quite literally the centre of her universe.
You did not know the truth of her nature, or anything about the pack. Even though the two of you were best friends, the secrets of the pack were kept securely away from you because you were not from the central community. The pack stayed with the pack and its secrets could only be shared to those that shared a connection with the wolves. Which you did, although unbeknown because Lisa has not shared the fact that you were her imprint.
Nothing has really changed between the two of you because the two of you have always been the best friends and were always there for each other, but Lisa’s connection to you has deepened far within her sole that her happiness is only connected to your own. You were her everything, even more so than just her best friend, and she will be anything for you in return, no matter what form it was.
And what you needed was a friendship. The close companionship of a friend is what you needed from Lisa, and even though she would love to be more, she was willing to be just your friend because that is the only way she can provide you happiness at the moment. She will be whatever you wanted, despite her own yearning, because your happiness was her happiness, and if you were happy with the two of you only being friends so be it.
She will be exactly that for your because that was what you needed.
“They were a fool. A selfish, stupid, heartless fool, and I have half the mind to storm into their house and rip their damn head off.”
The growl in Lisa’s voice was very deep, almost very wolf-like due to her flaring temper, but fortunately enough she was not to the extent where she will shift. You were in her arms, and shifting now would only hurt you, so she kept herself in check as she pulled you back into her arms, hugging you tightly while pressing a kiss to your forehead.
“Never question yourself Y/N. You are perfect, and anyone who can’t see that are blind fools that can walk off the face of the Earth.”
You sniffled, wrapping your arms tightly around Lisa as you pressed your face into her chess, the flow of your tears slowly decreasing before finally stopping as Lisa continued to rub your back and press kisses to your forehead, giving you the comfort that you craved and needed.
“Thank you Lisa...for everything.” You thanked her, squeezing Lisa as you hugged her and nuzzled your face in her chest as you remained in her arms to soak up the unnatural warmth which her body provided. Lisa pressed another kiss to your forehead.
“I will always be here for you Y/N, no matter what.”
“...I know.”
No matter in what shape or form you wanted from her, Lisa will give it to you because she loved you. So if you needed her to be a friend to wipe away the tears caused by someone that broke your heart into a million pieces and caused you pain, so be it. If you wanted her to rip your ex apart, she will do it without hesitation. As long as you were happy and wanted her for company, she will do anything you asked of her.
maybe I am susceptible to peer pressure.
(two people asked me to write an extended scene of a fic and I caved immediately)
