What To Do When You Lose Your Werewolf

If they're in a shift dont go looking for them! Especially theyve gone feral (which is how you probably lost them in the first place). It's best to wait until the next day

First thing is first, put out your jacket in a tree or bush to have them sniff you out. Even when they're not shifted they can still detect faint scents from miles away.

Next, lay out water. Food isnt as important, and itll attract pests, but feral werewolves dont usually drink water when they're on a rampage. Bottles of water are best since you dont want bugs getting in it.

Get a whistle! They can be heard from miles away if you get a good one. And your werewolf will know just where to go!

Lastly, prepare a warm place to sleep and a shower for them, theyll be dirty. They may even be scratched up so prepare for that too!

List of bonding methods for werewolves:

Scenting: let them rub their faces on you, give them your hands to share your scent with them.

Greetings: Some types of werewolves have different greeting methods, very affectionate but domestic werewolves will kiss your hands, affectionate feral ones may try to kiss the inside of your mouth! Tactile werewolves greet each other by hugging and scratching each others backs, while standoffish ones will give your hand a squeeze and that's all. Usually there is some touch though.

Sharing: A werewolf loves to share! Especially food! Give them a little bit of what you have (even if you know they wont like it) and sometimes ask if you can have a little of theirs. Fries are good for this!

Grooming: Most social cryptids enjoy this, and werewolves are no exception. Inviting a werewolf to your shower, offering to brush their fur, asking to dye it, or even washing their face for them is a huge bonding experience. Plus they return the favor and it feels very nice.

Howling: This can just be singing, or it can be very literal! Put on some popular music that everyone knows the words to, or take your werewolf lover outside where the moon is and howl with them. Let them be them.
