what initially gave u the idea to make wysira? danny? puttin a furry in the fic u fucc?

well danny was made by @werewolfmemes [she’s more active, art wise, on her deviant art which is werewolfbeans], so I can’t take credit for them.

for wysira, i made her because i wanted to do something REALLY out of the box for an “oc in thedas” fic. most modern girl in thedas fics are your usual young woman who’s played the games and knows everything about it. no combat experience and being like “what the fuck is going on”.

as i love making non-human characters, i wanted to make a non-human character to go into thedas. i wanted an older woman [she’s considered older middle age/kinda elderly in her culture] who was a warrior in her youth. i wanted someone who could settle into the role confidently, but not to the point she’s accepting of everything that’s happening.

there’s still culture shock and racism/prejudice. there’s still a lot of issues going on.

with how danny came into the picture, tori [werewolfmemes] and i rp a lot of our ocs, and we ended up putting wysira and danny together in our own universe that we’ve developed over the years. i ended up loving them together so much that it just... felt wrong not having danny and wysira together.

and i already figured “i have one non-human in here, why not have another?” because interdimensional travel is more likely than you think, in Wysira’s universe.

People don’t ACTIVELY do it too often, but it’s a thing. usually because its a Really Big Fucking Blunder.
