“Oh, you must have some sort of opinion! How can you possibly stare at these walls all the time and have no feelings about their color? I don’t believe you.” Nina Ismail is in rare form. The high ponytail on her head signifies as much, if nothing else. The paintbrush in her hand is another clear indicator. But there is nothing so out of character as the flannel she wears. Don’t be fooled -- there is a pristine dress beneath it, and that’s the point exactly, the too-big shirt serving as a protective layer between her clothing and the paint. A ridiculous visual, she’s sure, but she won’t sacrifice Givenchy to keep up her looks to an audience of one. It is this audience that she looks at now, giving a scrutinizing glance before gesturing back towards the streaks of paint upon the wall. “I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, considering the current color of these walls. Really though, Wesley, you should up your standards.” The witch-turned-decorator sighs as she turns her back to her less than eager client, head tilting as she surveys the colors. “If you’re looking for my opinion, and I’m not certain you are, I would go with the blue. It lets in more light. The ceilings will feel less, well, suffocating.” And back to her blinking companion, whom she sighs at once more. “Please do not tell me to simply go with whichever I like most. I beg of you: some input. Otherwise I’ll fear I’ve ruined your house and you’ll put it all back to various shades of beige as soon as I leave.”
