I know people - primarily women - who are miserable because they're tired of dating and just waiting for THE ONE to come along. The danger of thinking dating is ONLY for the purpose of marriage, is that one can deprive themselves of all the beautiful gifts of love along the way. . . I can't speak for everyone but what I can say is that if you constantly tell your brain and heart to think there's only joy, happiness or love to be found in THE ONE, then it will naturally feel like everything else was a waste.
