Was rewatching the West Wing episode “Lord John Marbury” (S01E11) last night (in line with listening to the West Wing Weekly podcast, which I am absolutely loving). I was surprised to see a young Iqbal Theba as the Indian Ambassador. Also interesting? Erick Avari played the Pakistani Ambassador. Some cross-cultural casting there, which I wonder if it was deliberate.

Thanks to @lannamichaels, my brain is now pondering the fact that “The Bartlet Sisters” would be a perfectly good song, in Jed’s mind, for the musical made of *his* life.

Josh doesn’t necessarily agree. But to him, Jed is still Mr. President and is only wrong in very specific circumstances.

What about a West Wing/Glee crossover in which little intern Blaine and CJ bond over their excellent stage presence? You KNOW Sam would be all up in that. They could talk about Gilbert and Sullivan.

Oh, God. Too many possibilities. I’m gonna have to dust off my West Wing fanfic brain, am I not? (This is not helped by the fact that I recognized the cello music in the episode of “Daredevil” that TheHusband and I are watching because it’s the piece that Yo-Yo Ma played in “Noel.”)

Unexpected Jane Lynch sighting in The West Wing, in the episode “In the Shadow of Two Gunmen Part I” as a reporter at CJ’s press briefing (where Danny first asks her if anyone has talked about the 25th Amendment). I recognized her voice before I recognized her face.

Trying to decide, for that story I'm not writing, if Sam or Kurt is Leo. I'm stuck because of this: “You have a best friend? Is he smarter than you? Would you trust him with your life? That’s your Chief of Staff.”
