Thanks to @lannamichaels, my brain is now pondering the fact that “The Bartlet Sisters” would be a perfectly good song, in Jed’s mind, for the musical made of *his* life.

Josh doesn’t necessarily agree. But to him, Jed is still Mr. President and is only wrong in very specific circumstances.

Convince Me Not to Write This...

I’m a Bostonian, and as such I and my fellow locals just celebrated that which is known as “Allston Christmas.” And somehow today lannamichaels and I got to talking, and the next thing I know I’m pondering writing a fic in which the TARDIS is picked up on the curb as part of someone’s Allston Christmas haul. And then it was decided that this should be a fic.

Nrrgh, brain, I have enough plot bunnies. I don’t need this one.

So I’m just checking: We have no actual information on where in Manhattan NYADA is located, right? So if I were to plunk it somewhere in the Lincoln Center area, no one would complain, yes?

Crossover I'm Not Writing

Guinan decides to spend a few centuries on Earth seeing what she can get up to and how much fun she can have. She spends five years in New York City as the head of a performing arts college, breaking the hearts of kids who have been told from birth that they're special but who, on a cosmic scale, are not particularly interesting. And then she meets Kurt Hummel and, subsequently, Blaine Anderson. They are interesting. She finds herself dropping in and out of their lives over the next few decades, just to see what happens to them.

After seeing the post that's going around about the different types of traditional Islamic veils for women, I have an urge to do a post about the different types of head coverings you might see on Jews. But then I wondered (a) if anyone would be interested and (b) if there was enough to say without devolving into in-jokes and obscure bits of Jewish trivia. So this, like many others, is on my "maybe" pile.

I've got all these WIPs in my Google Drive, and I've got a couple other stories bubbling in the "let's see what develops" pot, but now my brain is telling me that (a) in honor of the gleefandomlove post I should write the "Jews in Glee" essay I've been pondering for a while and (b) I should write an original fiction story to submit to an anthology with a very short deadline (well, the window for submissions was long; I've just procrastinated). *Why*, brain, *why*???

(And, if you feel like it, do *you* have an opinion on what if anything I should write sooner?)

Trying to decide, for that story I'm not writing, if Sam or Kurt is Leo. I'm stuck because of this: “You have a best friend? Is he smarter than you? Would you trust him with your life? That’s your Chief of Staff.”
