What is the meaning of your URL?
It’s a simpler spelling of the name Rudj-djedet, a literary figure from the Middle Kingdom literary work we now know as the Westcar Papyrus.
Rudj-djedet is the wife of a priest of Re who is pregnant with three children fathered by Re himself. She is assisted during the birth by Isis, Nephthys, Meskhenet, Heqet, and Khnum. The children are born with all the accoutrements of gods, i.e. golden limbs and headcloths of real lapis-lazuli, and they are prophesied to take the throne of Egypt, succeeding Khufu’s grandson according to the tale.
As for the meaning of the name itself, I believe there’s no consensus. It may mean something along the lines of “strong of backbone (f.)”.
