West Coast, the Best Coast
Less than a year later, I’m back in the US of A! This time, to the West Coast (it’s our first time there). It’s sort of a second honeymoon for the husband and I, and we spent two weeks exploring the amazing cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
It was a really, really good trip; we’ve always wanted to go there, and it did not fail to disappoint. Some quick highlights:
Stepped into the new (sort of secret) Apple cafe, and went into the actual HQ premises! I was secretly hyperventilating the whole time.
Saw Chris Pratt in person!! Also, a bunch of Hollywood stars at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 premiere.
Visited the most gorgeous National Parks and Canyons — Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Yosemite, and saw the most beautiful sunsets and landscapes.
Finally went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to visit my alma mater!
Went on the Warner Brothers and Universal Studios tours to see actual movie/ tv show sets, including the La La Land cafe!
Gambled in Vegas and lost 100% of all that I bet (which was a grand total of 1 dollar), while the husband won 100% of his bet (which was a grand total of 3 buckaroos)!
Had reeeally amazing food, including Eggslut, House of Prime Rib, Momofuku, Gordon Ramsay Burger, and of course Butterbeer.
