Are you a fan of gremlins? Of little shits that go out of their way to break the law? Of guys that are super nice and charming but flip off the Sheriff on their way out?
Well, pal, do I have a deal for you!
Introducing: Bandit!
From Westerntale!
Also potentially a figure in Undertale Yellow.
He's a sneaky little shit that can never be caught, much to his brother, the Sheriff's, chagrin.
( Yes I'm going to introduce all of my new Sanses like a sales pitch because of the funny factor )
Out of all your Western boys, would you say any of them believe in love at first sight?
Ooooh. Well, this is an interesting question~ here's what me and @justsamwich have for you, dear anon
The western sanses don't outrightly believe in it...
Doc wants to, but knows he would actively seek it out and he likes to keep himself more grounded. In a way, he does believe in it, but is in denial, as he would be sad to not experience it himself.
Rusty believes love takes a lot of work and that's part of the joy in having a relationship. He believes in attraction at first sight, but he feels that you need to really know someone before you can say you love someone.
Ace feels similarly to how Rusty does, believeing you need to know a person and on top of that, he's never experienced it himself so there's also no proof of it.
As for the papyri...
Ranger believes in it, but not for himself. He thinks it can happen to other people, but he's too focused on his own work to really want something like that for himself.
Diablo believes in it once it has happened to him and before that point, he thinks the idea of it is very sweet. He's never going to admit to it, but once it happens to him, well how could he not believe in it?
Rodeo doesn't believe in it, once again as he believes you need to put work into a relationship. He's not the kind of guy who falls in love easily and he wouldn't trust someone saying they could.
Congrats West you’re a mother!
This is what happened when you feed and pay attention to Toxic Determination Frisk. This was a scene from an RP between me and @narniathaliaryu.
Toxic Determination Frisk was created by me... ^ ^;;

Little fic of reader and my take on westerntale Sans! Enjoy!!
When you’d taken up the job as receptionist for Doc’s clinic you hadn’t expected much, at least, not anything outside the usual things that came with that kind of job. Over the last year, you had learned more about monster physiology than any of the other humans, with the added bonus of getting to see magic working in front of your eyes. On top of that, it turns out you have a very good bedside manner, many of the patients telling you how nice it always was when you came to check on them. Even Doc had admitted he was glad to have hired you, that you helped make it a little easier for him to focus on his job without worrying about all the paperwork and other things.
You remembered the way he had smiled at you when he said that and you felt your heart do a little somersault in your chest. Of all the things you expected, this was the one thing you couldn’t have ever imagined.
You had started to fall for your… well, it was hard to say what he was to you, exactly. Doc was your boss and coworker, the two of you always working smoothly together. He had become one of your dearest friends since you’d moved into town. You knew if you showed up on his doorstep in the middle of the night he’d let you in and take care of you, no questions asked. He was a well known pillar of the community, who always made sure to give his patients the best care possible.
The more you thought about it, the more you had realized that while these all described who he was, they didn’t truly encompass what he was to you. He was the one you went to when you needed a safe place to sort yourself out. Doc never judged you, always talking you through your worries and anxieties. Every morning when he greeted you at the clinic, the smell of cloves and sandalwood that followed him everywhere immediately calmed you. The shared drinks at the bar and jokes that had you laughing like a mad person.
He was safe.
He was home.
Doc was everything you’d imagined in a partner and you hadn’t realized it until now. The thought made you both delighted and also very nervous, because you weren’t sure he felt the same way. The idea of talking to him about it made your stomach turn and your hands shake, even though you knew he’d be kind, whether he felt the same or not.
You weren’t sure you could handle the possible rejection. Not from him. But you knew you couldn’t keep going on without saying anything to him either, which meant you’d have to face that anxiety head on. And that led to where you were now, laughing at one of Doc’s terrible jokes as the two of you sat at the bar in the saloon. You had to fan yourself with your hand as you calmed yourself, face warm from the alcohol and laughing too hard.
“Maybe we should simmer down.” Doc chuckled as Grillby brought out the dinners you had ordered, “Wouldn’t want you to pull something and have to go back to work.”
Your giggles kicked up again for a moment, but you managed to calm yourself and talk a long drink from your glass. You turned back to him and grinned as you leaned closer, the words coming out of you before you could realize what you were saying, “And here I was, thinking I could get some quality one on one time with you.”
The pinpricks of light in his sockets go wide and you’re suddenly way more interested in your dinner plate than looking at him. Why on earth had you said that out loud!?!? There’s several moments of awkward silence as both of you process the moment and finally you let out a small sigh, looking back up to him.
“I’m so sorry, Doc. That was… out of line.” You said softly, “You’re my boss before anything else and that was not appropriate for me to say to you.”
He looked like he might say something, but after a few seconds of silence, you assumed that you were mistaken in that assumption. You look back at your plate of food and suddenly find you’ve got no appetite. Instead, you place more than enough money to cover your bill, offering Grillby a small smile as you stand from your seat. He only gives you a nod back and you hope that he’s not offended by your sudden change in demeanor.
You can’t get yourself to look at Doc as you walk away, wrapping your arms around yourself as you leave the saloon. And he sits there, silently berating himself for not being able to speak up and say what he wants to. The skeleton had been caught off guard by your bold and clearly flirtatious statement, but not in a bad way.
You never made him feel bad though.
Doc sighed and turned back to the bar, taking a deep drink from his glass and frowning as Grillby came over, flames crackling in curiosity.
“I’m a real numbskull, old friend.” He sighed, shaking his head after a moment, “I’m not good with my feelings and less so when it matters most.”
The fire monster chuckled, his flames crackling softly, ‘I thought the two of you were together, the way you behave sometimes.’
Doc’s cheeks flushed blue and he narrowed his eye sockets at his friend, “Stars, I wish, but no. I’m a coward who’s happy enough just to keep them close.”
He downed the rest of his drink and wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt, sliding the glass back to the bartender.
“Otherwise, I’d have followed them out of here and tried to explain myself.”
Grillby made a motion that he could only interpret as the elemental’s version of an eye roll and before he could retort, the other monster put a hand up. Doc grumbled, but motioned for him to say whatever it was he was going to say.
‘You still could go after them.’ He said, flames crackling with amusement, ‘The only person keeping you here, is you, Doc.’
“Thank you for that very insightful and obvious observation.” The skeleton snarked, sighing and putting his head in his hands, “They could do better than me, Grillby. I couldn’t cut it as the Judge and I barely managed to raise my brother, I’d be a shit partner to have.”
The elemental’s flames crackled sharply this time and this was something Doc was familiar with, because he’d seen Grillby irritated plenty of times. Many of those were his own fault, even.
‘You’re an idiot, is what you are. Ranger thinks the world of you and every other monster does as well. You might not have been able to be the Judge, but you’re a damn good doctor.’ His flames flared up a bit and then the crackling slowed down, ‘You’re a good man and after everything you’ve done for everyone else, you deserve a little happiness yourself.’
Doc looked up and it took everything in him not to cry at the bar. He knew he wasn’t good at viewing himself well and despite his brother and their friend’s attempts to help him, he still struggled.
But what Grillby said, reminded him of what they always told him. That he had done as much good as he possibly could and that he deserved to let himself be happy with that. This issue wasn’t resolved, but it was the push he needed at this moment.
“I… shit, okay.” He mumbled for a moment, looking to the doors of the saloon, “Do you… do you think I can still catch them?”
Grillby laughed, ‘Can’t hurt to try.’
Doc sighed and then chuckled a bit, although it wasn’t quite as genuine as normal, “Yeah, I suppose it can’t. Right, I’ll um… you can put this on my tab?”
The elemental gave him a disapproving look, but nodded all the same and then motioned for him to get going. The skeleton gave his old friend a nod back and then made his way out of the saloon, looking around to see if you’d made it very far. He couldn’t see you, but he knew which direction your house was in and what luck, he knew a shortcut.
****
You sighed softly and looked up at the stars, wondering how you’d ended up here. Of course, you knew how, you shouldn’t have opted for an alcoholic drink. Except that wasn’t the real problem, no, the real issue was that you had become too comfortable around Doc. It made it easier to subconsciously let your guard down, to be more open with him.
And now you were mortified, because you’d quite blatantly flirted with him.
Stars, it was going to be awkward when you went to the clinic tomorrow.
“I am a bonafide idiot.” You muttered to yourself, jumping when you heard a low chuckle from behind you. Your heart raced as you slowly turned around, eyes wide when you realized who had snuck up on you.
Of course.
“The only bone-afide idiot here is me, darlin.” He chuckled, shooting you his trademark cheeky grin, “It was a real knucklehead move of me to leave you wondering back there.”
Your cheeks flushed at the pet name and your mind was going a million miles a minute as he spoke and you shook your head, offering him a small, but timid smile.
“No, I… I know I must have surprised you with that.” You said softly, still not quite looking him in the eyes, “I’m really sorry, Doc. For putting you on the spot.”
He paused for a moment before he walked closer, reaching out to gently lift your chin and get you to look at him. Doc smiled sweetly, but he didn’t pull his hand back just yet.
“Did you mean it?” He asked, light blue dusting his cheek bones, “Do you want the one on one time with me?”
You opened your mouth and then closed it, taking a moment to breathe to calm yourself. Slowly, you let out a breath and then nodded, “Yeah, I… I meant that.”
A pause.
“A-and I meant it in the way that… Well, I care about you, Doc. A lot.” You laughed nervously and looked past him, because you couldn’t handle looking right at him right now. “Way more than I ever thought I could.”
His hand gently tugs on your chin and he chuckles softly as he once again gets you to look at him. Normally, you’d have absolutely told a man off for manhandling you, but he was so careful. He wasn’t holding you tight enough that you couldn’t get away if you wanted to.
But you were happy to stay right here with him.
“What a coincidence.” Doc said softly, stepping even closer to you, “I… I care about you too, darlin. Way more than I think I should be allowed to.”
Your eyebrows raise at that and he chuckles a little sadly, shaking his head, “That’s not a conversation for tonight. For now, I think maybe we should just talk about what this means. For us.”
You paused.
For us.
Stars above, was he saying…
“Like… if we want to do something about our feelings?” You asked carefully, still not wanting to get your hopes up.
The blue on his cheeks deepend and he nodded, “I’d like the chance to woo you properly, if you’re still interested.”
You couldn’t help it, but the laughter bubbled up and spilled out of you without warning. Oh, he was so cute, phrasing it like that. Doc frowned and you brought a hand up to his cheek, “I’m not laughing at you, I promise. It’s just… I’m relieved that you feel the same way.”
Slowly, his smile came back and he placed his hand over yours, “I see. Guess we’re both a couple of chuckle-heads, huh?”
You giggled again and nodded, “I suppose we are.”
The two of you stood there a moment, before he broke the silence.
“Well then, as befitting a gentleman such as myself, I cordially ask that you allow me to court you.” Doc said, pulling your hand away from his face so that he could press his teeth to the back of it. “Would you allow me the honor of proving myself a capable man and monster? That I can care for, and cherish you, as you deserve to be?”
Suddenly, your feeling as warm as you did back in the bar, cheeks flushed a deep red. Stars, one second he was cute and the next he was so charming and well worded that he left you speechless.
This skeleton would be the death of you.
“I… Yes, I would very much like for you to do so.” You replied softly, “But I already know what kind of man you are, Doc. I know I’m in good hands.”
He laughed softly and pulled you close, pressing his forehead to yours, “Yes, well, no pressure.”
You laughed as well and in that moment, under the stars and in the middle of the empty road, you were happier than you had been in some time. You only hoped that you could help bring that happiness to Doc as well. He deserved it.
What outfit or articles of clothing do you think would really get your Mafia and Western bois attention if their s/o or crush wore it?
Smoke (Mafiatale Sans) - Enjoys seeing his crush or s/o in generally form fitting clothes, but you're sure to get his attention if you wear something that shows off your butt and/or hips.
Mac (Mafiatale Papyrus) - You'll get his attention best by dressing to impress, if he sees his crush or s/o dressed to the nines, he's going to be sneaking glances.
Doc (Westerntale Sans) - If you want to catch the good doctor's attention, it's actually best to go with accessories. If he catches his crush or s/o adorned with flowers in their hair, or a nice necklace that's going to get his attention.
Ranger (Westerntale Papyrus) - The sheriff is going to be drawn in by seeing you in something he's not used to. If he sees his crush or s/o more dressed up than normal, or trying out a different style of outfit, then he's going to be paying more attention.
Bonus bit of info, all four find it very attractive if their crush or s/o playfully takes an accessory or article of clothing from them to wear.
I have a few questions for your Mafia and Western skeleton bois if that's okay. How much of a flirt would you say they are? How do they flirt with someone they are interested in? How would they react if someone flirted with them? I’m sorry if that's too many questions jajdjsjdsjzsj
It's not too many questions at all and honestly, you wanting to know really makes my day ^^
Doc (Western Sans):
Doc is a bit of a casual flirt, the kind of guy that'll flirt a bit with his friends and acquaintances. His flirtations are typically things that one could brush off as him just being generally sweet, that way no one feels uncomfortable. And if you tell him you're not cool with that, he backs off.
If he's interested in you, then he's going to be a bit more specific in the way he flirts, noting what makes you the most flustered and gets the cutest responses. And if you don't mind, he's going to get as close to you when flirting as you're comfortable with.
Depending on the flirting, Doc will be anywhere from amused to flustered. If it's friendly and casual, he'll be amused and a bit flattered. If it's more personal than that, he's going to get flustered, especially if it's a consistent thing.
Ranger (Western Papyrus):
If you thought he was flirting, he probably did it on accident. He's not the kind of guy who just flirts with anyone and if he's approached about it and it wasn't his intention, he will apologize for giving you the wrong idea.
When Ranger is interested in someone, his flirting is very focused and personalized. He plays off of things he's noticed about the person and as he gains confidence, the flirting can even become more intense.
You will fluster him if you flirt with him. As a certified workaholic, the man isn't used to anyone taking interest in him and it will catch him off guard. He does handle it better as he gets used to it, but there's no hiding the slight blush you'll give him.
Smoke (Mafia Sans)
He's a massive flirt. He'll flirt with friends, strangers and anyone else who might engage in conversation. He's also got no shame, so he's likely to fluster and/or annoy people with what he says.
If he's interested in you, then you become the center of his focus. He'll flirt with you every second he can, unless you tell him to knock it off. On top of that, he's more likely to add physical flirtation as well, like caressing your cheek or placing his hand under your chin, etc.
Smoke can maintain his composure and he'll mostly just be flattered that you're flirting with him. It's not that he's not flustered, but he's likely to deflect any compliments that come with the flirtations and try to tell you that he's not worth your time.
Mac (Mafia Papyrus)
Mac will flirt on occasion, typically only if it's someone he knows very well or he needs to for work. He's a bit of a private man when it comes to his affections, not in that it's beneath him, but that he feels that is something just for him and his partner.
If he's interested in you, then it's a bit of a different story. Mac's style of flirting is a bit odd, mostly him complimenting you on things he finds admirable, on top of some flirtations based on his attraction to your physical features.
Mac is pretty unaffected by flirting, although if you get the right combination of catching him off guard and saying the right thing, then you might get to see him a bit flustered. As someone who is a face man for the Dreemur Family, he has to be capable of not letting people get under his skin (not that he has any).
