Weston anime let's fucking gooooo
✨All my links✨
this is completely irrelevant and kinda fanficy but i always felt that weston college arc had the best world building in black butler so anyway hc for a female version of the weston college from that one arc of black butler
🎀-its probably named after a greek goddess like nike or artemis or smth cause i just feel like fem weston would be a more ✨cultured✨ place. im gonna call it persephone
🎀-the houses probably still follow the athletic, the noble, the studious, the artist, but they also have like character traits that they instill in students like red girls are taught to be exceptionally generous and charitable while blue girls are taught to be determined and steadfast or w/e
🎀-just feel like it was originally located in france as a sister school, just to make there be more reason for the schools to have a rivalry besides girls vs boys, but during the french revolution relocated to either new orleans or new york
🎀-yes there are a lot of wlw. notorious for having blue girls that are ✨special friends✨ with other girls
🎀-blue girls have the option to choose essentially a major to focus their studies on such as history or stem. the blue dorms have a gigantic library attached with a greenhouse and lab as well.
🎀-green girls are usually more focused on athletics but are also considered the more ✨domestic, caring wife✨ of the school. femme athlete lesbian energy. dorms have a track and indoor gymnasium. also a really cool kitchen.
🎀-violet girls are just vibing all the time. they have a lot of studios in their dorms and have a storage basement full of broken instruments none of them know how to fix. they eventually bring them to the blues to get a manual. common to see violets singing or drawing together on the benches, fountains, and grass fields all around campus.
🎀- red girls are like your rich friend who doesn't realize she's rich. usually come from some noble bloodline and grow up to never marry and instead live with her blue girl ✨friend✨ where the red pays for the blues like expeditions and shit. dorms have little cafes and labs because theyre smart but they like to mix their own lipstick for the right matte finish.
🎀-weston and persephone are rivals but still consider each other close idk
🎀-blue girls were commonly recruited as spies during ww1 and ww2. violets would tour non-allied territory and report back to the us government. green girls were commonly sent in to track down and dispose of war criminals
🎀- i just love the idea of weston having to compete not only with each other but also with their sister houses okay
Lowkey flipping everyone in school off
you gotta be kidding me
My favorite edgy boys. 💜💜
I really love their outfits at the end of the cricket tournament, I can't wait to see that part animated 🥹🫶 I love them so much aaaAAAA

Bonus pic:
There is something kind of unnerving in the drawing style of this anime. The characters' faces and features seem so different from their manga version?? Idk, I just know I wasn't really convinced seeing Cheslock in the trailer. So I decided to make a little edit over a screenshot from the trailer. C:
Of course I'm happy to see this arc animated but I'm gonna be a bitch about how the characters' features have been butchered.
Manga panel for reference:
For your ask game, can you do Cheslock for 16 and 17?
Absolutely ~
16. A childhood headcanon. I think he was really into sensory input, especially physical touch- he was constantly feeling and handling everything he could get his little hands on. He'd run his fingers along/through/over anything with a texture to it.
17. What do you think their first word was? "Mine...?" (He was trying to reach for something. 'Mine' became his favorite multi-purpose word for a while after that, in varying levels of belligerence depending on the situation.)
From this ask.
