As our readers may know, the family of NEPA Scene founder and editor Rich Howells lost their West Scranton home to a devastating fire on Christmas morning. Rich's mother Judy sustained severe burns while saving her husband and autistic son from the second floor of the home. She had to be airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital and is still recovering. The rest of the family has had to make it through the holidays with the help of friends and clothing and monetary donations. They have always struggled financially and did not have insurance. Since this tragedy, the arts community has risen up to help Rich's family through a GoFundMe campaign and this benefit. Come out to the F.M.
