未知のレンブラント作品発見

【AFP＝時事】オランダの美術専門家が15日、2016年に競売で落札した肖像画が、これまで知られていなかった巨匠レンブラント（Rembrandt）の作品だったことが分かったと明らかにした。レンブラント作品の発見は40年以上ぶり。専門家はこの作品を約13万ポンド（約1900万円）で落札したが、実際の価値はそれをはるかに上回るとみられる。

　公表したのは美術商でもあるヤン・シックス（Jan Six）氏。1634年頃に描かれた「若い紳士の肖像（Portrait of a Young Gentlemen）」は、競売大手クリスティーズ（Christie’s）が2016年末にロンドンで行った競売で落札した。

Un héritage qui fait grandir

Trois frères héritent à la mort de leur père d’une somme considérable ainsi que d’un testament assez particulier. La moitié de l’héritage disparaît mystérieusement. Ce sera le début d’une aventure familiale, à la manière d’un road movie initiatique. La lecture est assez légère. Le texte est plus proche des romans policiers de Van De Wetering que de ses textes sur ses expériences zen. J’ai l’impression que la traduction était parfois approximative, mais cela n’a pas gêné ma lecture.
