I am trying to do my bit while in 12 week shielding (I think I am on week 4 but who knows, I’m into the timeslip now!) and am crocheting hearts for nurses to give to grieving relatives. I’ve been teary-eyed with every stitch; the nursing staff give one to the relatives and leave one with the deceased so that they have some connection when they can’t be there.
