CHAPTER 40 SPOILERS FOR WHA YALL

I really liked this one of Olly because you can still feel the flow of his cloak despite it being almost fully blacked out :D I tried to put my own spin on this one as well :DD

I’ve been reading Witch Hat Atelier, and I just finished chapter 41 and I am DEAD—

(Spoilers for ch 36 - 40 events under cut)

QIFREY YOU FOOL. YOU’RE SO SMART WHYYYY

I’m so glad Coco had sense and stayed with Qifrey, she’s much better off there, but oh MY GOD.

OLLY LITERALLY WANTS TO HELP YOU. YOU KNOW THAT HE’D HELP YOU IF YOU’D LET HIM BUT YOU DO THAT??? Qifrey is doing his darnest to sacrifice himself, and it’s hurting his hubby in the process. He knows that Olruggio would go to the ends of the earth for him, but he’s so scared of anyone getting hurt in his efforts to get revenge that he’d rather erase his best friend’s memory than let him help.

Qifrey is a great example of someone who is so smart, but so self sacrificing and so terrified of inadvertently causing hurt in others that he makes stupid decisions. If Olly found out this time, he’ll find out again, and Qifrey can’t keep erasing his memory.

So excited to read more tho, I’ve heard there’s something to do with the Silver Tree in Qifrey’s backstory, and I am very worried but also excited.

(I am so so glad Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen exists, I love the domestic husbands and their children just getting to exist)
