hey y’all, i just want to clarify something real quick with everyone. (otherwise it will bother me)

I don’t have to respect TV show writers. I owe them nothing. They owe me nothing. 

Can I call attention to poor writing, plot holes, bad pacing, boring or inconsistent characters, contrived romances, tone changes, and alarming trends in media? Yeah. It doesn’t mean a lack of respect.

Am I going to go on twitter and insult them? No, because I’m not an asshole. and the writer’s are still people and because its just a tv show. Can I express how displeased I am with certain trends in the latest season on my own trashpile of a blog? Hell fucking yeah I can.

Do the writers have to do what I want? Of course not. They do owe the audience a good story, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be the story I want. Can I also discontinue watching a show that I no longer enjoy? I sure can, because, once again, it’s just a tv show.
