Oh my god the extent to which Caleb and Beau have devolved into this like disgustingly sibling-like relationship is just amazing. Like... being super possessive over the pet you co-own but also sharing sort of nicely in the end? Utterly shitting on everything each other is interested in but still trying to find stuff the other one will like pertaining to that bc you want them to be happy? my cats normally co-exist relatively peacefully, but sometimes they co-exist like this.  apollo just perches somewhere higher than pounce and stares at her, waiting for her to run away so he can chase her, and pounce lays her ears flat and stares back.  they were immobile like this for like two minutes.
