I wasn't warned for the impact that thirteen reasons why the show would have on my mental health. I have read the books and it made me feel that Hannah deserved to live. So why wouldn't I deserve too. I wasn't warned that the show would make me feel the opposite. I wasn't warned that the show would be full of triggers. I wasn't warned for the visible scars and suicide and rape scenes. I wasn't warned that I would have fallbacks into that awful black pit like Clay himself experiences. I wasn't warned that I would be triggered so bad that after two years of being clean I almost faltered. I wasn't warned that skye said cutting was an option SPOILER: ITS NOT I wasn't warned for the impact this show would have on my mental health. This is me warning you. Be careful before you watch that show. This is me warning you.
