Victoria’s tradies are banding together to help rebuild the homes and lives of the state’s bushfire-ravaged communities.
We’re all well aware of the devastation that has been happening around the bushfires and our thoughts are with all those effected.
Whilst everyone is looking for ways to provide support and assistance, those of us with skills in the trades can do our bit by pledging time to assist in the rebuilding of lost homes and community infrastructure. Thanks to Piers Smart for setting up the Tradies for Fire Affected Communities page - what an incredibly inspiring initiative! Already this group has provided an avenue for those fire effected communities to source materials, equipment and a much needed hand to rebuild again.
It’s been so heartwarming to see the generosity and support that has been flooding in, not only from Australia but all around the world. It's times like these that we are reminded of the goodness in those around us and the strength of character that is the foundation of our community.
