CL has had it. 

And I have to say though I am both overwhelmingly proud of her boldness, it’s definitely tinged with sadness as well that she had to be pushed this far. 

I’m also a little worried because I truly believe YHS is a textbook misogynist and she basically publicly embarrassed him and called him out. I can’t see that sliding by without consequences. But tbh, I don’t think CL cares about consequences anymore. What more could YG/YGE possibly do to her? They took 2NE1 from her AND her own music. Her group and her music was her life. And now she’s at the point where she has nothing to lose. 

She has been pushed way beyond her limits and I think now she’s going to do whatever she has to do or say whatever she has to to get justice for herself, and quite possibly her group and others too (i saw a comment she liked about bringing Lee Hi with her when she escapes YG).

Even if there’s backlash, even if she gets banned or kicked out or whatever any institution or society could throw at her, I think she’s ready for it. Something has got to change and CL is going to be the one to do it. Because CL has always been one to break boundaries, to push forward towards uncharted territory and to speak her mind and stand up for what she believes no matter what. After a long time of being pushed around and fed lies, I think she has reached the point of no return; she’s going to shake things up for better or for worse. Surely it’s better than the agonizing stagnancy she’s been used to all this time. 

Four years of her life wasted. No more.

Fun fact: I picked out Sargent and Indie’s updated last name a while ago to distance them from the Moonage TRC fic, only for Maggie Stiefvater to pick out the very same last name for one of her new characters for the Ronan trilogy. Of course we both happened to vibe with Hennessy the most. We’re definitely not the same person...

i've come to the conclusion that people are really rather stupid when things are not spelled out for them. some will tell you she recovers "too quickly" so she must have loved him not at all.
