I am often asked what was my Inspiration for my ToyBox series: “ Not intended for small children” … Hmmmm ….my 2 kiddos definitively! My children’s toys, too sweet and memorable to toss, were gathering dust in a box…I started to make piece of arts with their toys to celebrate them growing up but keeping the nostalgia of their early years…. Often they would ask what keeps us going, what keeps us inspired? Before, the thought is that we just want to share our love for food, to give quality food and service to the neighborhood. But looking at this pic, realization hits. This is not just about the food or the excellent service anymore. This is about the people, the families and friends, strengthening bonds and relationships, and the next generation. THIS KEEPS US INSPIRED. On my messy desk this morning...a new little doll in the works!
