गेहूं की बुवाई के सीजन के शुरू होने से पहले icar से गेहूं पर बड़ी खबर सामने आई है जहां भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद के एक प्रमुख पैनल ने बीज उप-समिति के लिए गेहूं और जौ की कुल 28 नई किस्मों को अपनी मंजूरी प्रदान की है. गेहूं की बुवाई का सीजन के शुरू होने से पहले लिए गए इस फैसले पर चर्चाओं का दौर शुरू है. बताया गया है कि अगस्त में किस्म पहचान समिति की बैठक में गेहूं और जौ की 46 नई किस्मों के मांगों की समीक्षा की गई जहां 41 में से 23 नई किस्मों और सरकारी संस्थानों तथा निजी क्षेत्र की कंपनियों द्वारा पेश की गई जौ की सभी 5 किस्में शामिल हैं.

गेहूं की खेती से क्यों मुंह मोड़ रहे हैं कई रूसी किसान

रूस में पिछले कुछ वर्षों से किसान गेहूं की खेती से अपना मुंह मोड़ रहे है. एक रिपोर्ट में दावा किया गया है कि पिछले तीन वर्षों से रूस में किसानों ने गेहूं उत्पादन छोड़ रहे हैं. रिपोर्ट के अनुसार इससे रूस के गेहूं निर्यात में कमी देखी जा रही है. आपको बता दे कि रूसी अनाज संघ के अनुसार,पिछले पाँच वर्षों में लगभग 35 हजार अनाज उत्पादक दिवालिया हो गए हैं और ये संख्या बढ़ती ही जा रही है. इसके पीछे का कारण अधिकांश किसानों के पास अब उद्योग के अधिक लाभदायक दिनों के दौरान जमा किए गए भंडार के रूप में सुरक्षा का कोई मार्जिन नहीं होना बताया गया है.
