I am so happy to see you on my dash again!! HI!
Hi hi! It’s good to be back, honestly. I miss doing things, man. The most I did was play Legends: Z-A and I beat that like 2 days after getting it. I’ve been overwhelmed yet under-stimulated.
Hey, I dropped my wallet.
Excuse me sir! But I do believe you've dropped your wallet!
dear diary today i elarned what gender envy means
is it just me or is the first act of dotv like. so much denser than the second? First act has like, SO MUCH and with act 2 im always like fuck did we get to wenn liebe in dir ist already? when i listen to it lol
I think narratively it makes sense, there’s just more going on in the first act, gotta get that Small Town ContentTM, and also set up characters and get the plot moving. Then at the castle, there isn’t much left to do, like the humans are at the castle, we found the vampires, find Sarah and fill in time for the ball they also have limited characters and Krolock is gone for majority of it too, after ToFi he doesn’t show up again until Sie irren Professor, which is different than act one when he’s got plot to move along, I mean Sarah to get to the castle.
Though it is kind of interesting that the songs at the castle tend to be more, I don’t know subdued? The way that the castle occupants are dead, they’re not going to be singing a song like Warheit or Knoblauch, that’s still the humans things ie Bücher even Ewigeit is stilted and not exactly lively.
Sorry for the essay I’ve been written a lot recently for school but, yes I do agree there’s just more in act one whether that was specifically wanting to have the second act solely at the castle, who knows, probably. The amount of characters and things going on definitely adds to act one. But it does give a difference between human’s life which is busy and vampire life which... there isn’t much of a need to hurry when you have eternity.
Edit: they also shorted some songs in act two, Sarah had more in ToFi, Gier was longer. I think they changed up a bit in Tot zu sein ist komisch but I haven’t actually looked to see what is different. Idk if they changed act one songs since I haven’t really played those on piano yet.
I love @wheatlev’s character Serena and her story, or at least what I know of it so far!
