Animal of the day: Wheel Spider!
The wheel spider is a species of huntsman spider. It is native to the Namib Desert.
This spider builds burrows to keep itself safe from its predator, a parasitic wasp. If it is attacked by a wasp and cannot fight it off, it escapes by cartwheeling down the dune!

all of these (except the first two) were prompts from my friend lou :) how do you caption
muntjac deer, capybara and wheel spider
Not much capybara
Desert spiderfoxes (fennarachnids?). I envisoned these guys as fox- rather than spider-sized, though the granularity of the sandy soil here kinda disrupts the illusion. I guess you'll just have to USE YOUR IMAGINATION rather than relying on the AI to do all the heavy lifting for you. Ironic, isn't it?

Spooky Fact #17: There is a species of Huntsman Spider called the Wheel Spider that rolls away in a cartwheel when it feels like it’s in danger.
So what if Serkets, when threatened, curled up in a ball and rolled a way like wheel spiders?
