dear miss soju, i have this... friend. a close friend. that i maybe want to kiss. and this /friend/ might have expressed interest in this said action as well. how do i go about preforming this task? do i pull the ole "pretend-that-i'm-yawning-and-put-my-arm-around-them" trick and just go in for the kill? please help me.

well, if you know that this friend of yours would be alright with you giving him a smooch, i don’t see why not just go for it! there’s really no need to beat around the bush. since you did specify that you two are just friends, i’m assuming that this will be something casual- which is completely fine! it’s as easy as leaning in and puckering your lips when you feel compelled to do so. but if you’re hoping that it acts as a catalyst that might bring you to not-so-friendly territory, then i suggest that you set up the mood first. build that tension up! put on some mood music, lay out a bed of rose petals, light some candles. even something as subtle as tuning the conversation down and leaning in slowly, hovering close to their lips for a good moment. the anticipation is the best part! anyway, whatever the case, i wish you the best of luck! make sure to moisturize them lips before they smack on your friend’s!!
