was listening to a podcast with nikki reed earlier and she brought up how people bring up that she used to smoke being contradictory to this health and wellness journey she's been on and she was saying how she just embraces it because its part of her journey and yeah she used to smoke and eat terribly and not take care of herself but she's learned a lot since then and she makes healthier choices now etc etc

but like the main point she was saying was how you have to embrace a persons entire trajectory, which means the bad they started off in as well, if you wanted to encourage people changing and bettering themselves, otherwise youre just fostering an environment thats not welcoming and thus no one is going to want to change to begin with because whats the point if their past is just gonna keep getting shoved in their face as some sort of "gotcha"

I've watched Reverse 4 You, so obviously I have prior knowledge of the universe and potential powers, but the opening episode of Reverse With Me is interesting in the way that they approach explaining (or rather not) what is going on, especially given that these 2 shows are made by different production companies.

They don't tell you what's going on, but Karan knows so much that she must have done this all before more than once. She knows about the singing. She knows exactly what to say. We see her go back and prevent the car accident. It's heavily hinted that the song itself is inspired by her, so even the initial writing of it isn't in the "original" timeline. (I'm sure that suspicious guy with the gloves and hoodie waiting for the elevator is going to be relevant in another timeline.)

This seems more poignant for having seen R4U, but I'm curious if it would feel the same way for anyone who hasn't seen it (or read the book I guess). Obvious spoilers in this post though, so I don't know if I'll find anyone in that situation to come across this. Nonetheless, I feel it's a very interesting decision to do a "sequel" based on a series made by a different company and still have them play off each other this way. It's not something I would have expected.

I wonder if this was even intentional too. I don't know what the filming schedules of the series were like, so would they even have known the direction R4U went in when they were making this series?

So, @staff, I'm still new here, but how long does 'suspect follow-bot' season last?

I don't mind - too much - blocking and reporting them as spam, but it would be nice to have an idea when the 'suspect follow-bot' season ends, kinda like we all know that summer ends on the autumnal equinox later this month.
