So apparently some people new to Tumblr think a repost and a reblog are the same thing, so when they see creators asking for people to not repost, they're thinking the creators are saying to not reblog 😭

Y'all, a repost is when you copy/download the work and create a new post using the work making it seem as if it's yours. A reblog is you using a site provided feature to share the creator's post directly from the creator so that it's still credited to them and they still get all of the traction/notes from the work.

Please, reblog fics/art/etc. that you enjoy! Reblogging is not reposting! Creatives need support too, and reblogging is a way to do that!

On a more serious note, this has probably been said before, but if Buggy wasn't so insecure and anxious, he'd be a a terrifyingly powerful pirate. I'm still at the Marineford arc, so I'm not entirely certain what happens beyond that, but from what I've seen up to this point, he's not anywhere near his true potential.

He's shown to be incredibly resilient, bouncing back quickly after getting blown up, beat down, and even struck by lightning. He's also pretty strong given the things he's been able to pick up and or throw like the Blue Gorillas in Impel Down. He's a skilled knife thrower and probably mid-skilled swordsman- Characters like Zoro or Dracule are the 'Spider Georges' of sword skills, so compared to a more commonly seen standard, Buggy isn't bad, just surrounded by extremely skilled swordsmen.

Then, because of his devil fruit powers, he's immune to any sharp attacks and can dodge other attacks by splitting himself apart. He can fly so long as his feet are within range- like when he had Luffy carry them as he ran so he could fly through Impel Down or when his feet were running/walking on their own. He's capable of long, mid, and close range combat between his skills and his devil fruit powers. Buggy is smart enough to adapt as things quickly change, but he easily gets carried away, especially if someone praises him/strokes his ego.

Given everything I've seen so far of Buggy, from his accomplishments to his weaknesses, I truly believe he's capable of so much more if he had the confidence and will to try. He was even totally fine after Dracule cut him into ribbons! He went through damn near every level of Impel Down, proving to be more capable in each of those environments than many other prisoners seen. He was only sentenced to Level 1 because of how underestimated he was, partly due to how he preferred to keep a low profile prior to this.

Buggy could be a scary ass pirate if he didn't have the heart of a chihuahua, but that chihuahua aspect also makes him quite endearing. I have so many thoughts on this that are hard to put in order, but here's a coherent enough ramble on it at least

Fuck Gen AI

So, thanks to @ao3scrapesearch's tool, I was able to check if any of my works had been scraped. Several of my works were, so I can now confirm that using a "No Selecting Text" skin on your work doesn't prevent scraping either. I'm angry like many other authors, and to those who use gen AI to write for them or to spit out 'art', I hope you stop using this shit and realize how fucking awful it is not only to us creatives getting our work stolen to feed these datasets but also environmentally. Each string of prompts wastes 16 oz of water, which is a lot especially considering the scale, and energy usage is yet to be determined with conservative estimates still being high. Our world is already on fire, please don't contribute to making it worse with fuckin gen AI orz

It seems everything of mine from June 2023 to present was scraped while my older works were not. Given the varied topics, ratings, etc. of my stolen works, I can't tell what factors the scraper was using to determine what to scrape or not other than the dates. AO3 is already taking legal action to handle this, and I've heard [unconfirmed] several individuals are as well.

This won't stop me from creating, but I have been and will continue to block anyone I see supporting or using gen AI. Gen AI built on stolen works can get buried in the deepest fucking trenches and I won't argue about this.

I finished watching the Impel Down arc for One Piece last night and omfg I am living. Buggy with a ponytail the entire time 🙏 getting to see his abs every single time his shirt goes up 🙏 even got to see Buggy booty cheeks 🙏 He's so smart and so very stupid, the luckiest unlucky bastard around, absolutely ridiculous and perfect to gnaw on

I'm still watching the Marineford arc and omfg not Buggy taking the time to do a whole wardrobe change while a WAR is happening down below the frozen wave he's stuck on. Like, the others are trying to figure out how to get down, and he decided to raid some Marine's quarters to steal some new clothes, mark out the logos, and redo his hair and makeup.

Buggy, there is a WAR going on, and you decide NOW is the time for a MAKEOVER? And not only that, but went the extra mile to touch up his makeup AGAIN before broadcasting his dramatic ass to the world only to still flub hard 'cause he's nervous on camera 😂

Nothing could have prepared me for what Dan Da Dan actually is. I went in thinking it was like the other combat power shonens that have come out recently, like Jujutsu Kaisen, only for episode one to fuckin take my ass OUT as soon as Turbo Granny showed up 😂

So yesterday while I was out getting groceries and meds, the brakes on my car stopped working like they're supposed to. My car is now no longer safe to drive, and I nearly crashed several times while trying to get home. The most likely issue is my brake pads, which will cost several hundred dollars [likely ~$300+] that I don't have between parts, labor, and towing charges to get it fixed.

Since I don't have the money for repairs, I won't be able to get to appointments or run errands for who knows how long. Public transport is so poor where I live that it might as well not exist. Thankfully, I at least work from home, so that won't be impacted.
