If you didn't know this already, you are not "happy" the same way that we are. 

This show, which is now in the midst of season 5 rarely misses. Sure some of the skits are not the best, but for the most part, you can't go wrong with the show. If you want to start from season 1, feel free, if you want to start with the latest episode, you aren't going to be lost. Just sit back, get happy and enjoy the awesome characters in the world of the PNW. 

Why it's great "when happy"

It is like Saturday Night Live if they had time to go back and edit and refine every sketch. It is very insightful. It goes deep into the ridiculousness of the ultra-liberal and it just plain works. There is no one in this society that can't be made fun of and the duo of Fred and Carrie just make it happen.

LiL' DEBBiE & RiFF RAFF: Michelle Obama

When I first saw this over two years ago I wasn't sure if it was real or a joke. I am still not sure. The only thing I am sure of is that it is awesome. Nothing better than a song that you can sing along with before it is over. Nothing better than a tiny white girl with gold teeth in a video that is high budget for some, but low budget for others. 

I genuinely like the song and the artists. I am not playing at all. I don't think it will go down in history as an amazing work of art, but it might go down as one of my most watched YouTube videos of all time.

Why its good "when happy" 

Pretty much anything that RiFF RAFF does is good "when happy." He has the tool and the talent to poke fun at the entire rap game, while still being a major part of it himself. Lil Debbie's lyrics are simple and fun. The whole thing is just a ridiculous look at what hip-hop can be, was and is. 

It can also help kick off a night of crazy music videos which are always fun "when happy"

Web Series: High Maintenance

The best web series for your “Happy” time is High Maintenance. It’s about a weed dealer in New York City and his various encounters with people he sells weed to. For us Californians, it is funny that people still have to think about things like weed dealers, but that is what makes it all that much better.

This series is perfect because each is just a deep exploration of a character or set of characters in situations that we can all recognize.
