God’s Love is our comfort and support in the most difficult situations. He is a steadfast Father who will never leave us.

But we’ve got so much more than just an example. Jesus Christ, of course, who was in the ultimate palace, knew that the only way we would be saved was if He identified with us as His people.  Become incarnate!  But He didn’t just say, ‘If I perish, I perish.’  He knew it would be, ‘When I perish, I perish.’  I mean, He didn’t just save us at the risk of His life; He saved us at the cost of His life.  And therefore, He’s not just an example; He’s our substitute, He’s our mediator, and what that means is:  We can risk anything!  Because of His great courage, because of His great sacrifice, it means glory is coming to us, no matter what little thing we lose here, even if it’s just our lives. So, do you know how to look at Jesus when you’re suffering and see His suffering so that it turns you into something great?  Do you know how to look at Jesus when you’re scared and look at His courage and let that turn you into someone strong?
