A Shiny New Domain
I’d tried to buy “apple.re” once before—only to get stuck with the French language on the registrar's website. At that time there was only one registrar and there were some changes being made to who was allowed to register it. Another thing against me was that you could only use that TLD if you were a citizen of Réunion Island or France. Eventually I gave up and “apple.re” was moved over to my someday-maybe list with the rest of my pipe dreams. Move forward a few years till last week. It came to my attention that apple.re was for sale from a reseller. So tada!!! I made the purchase.
Now the interesting thing is that God had been dealing with me to be consistent with my prayer time. To literally (instead of metaphorically) put Him first.
Over the last few weeks, like a steady drip, several of the ministers that I listen to, all mentioned the importance of putting God first in the mornings. It seemed like synchronicity, but (I know better). God wanted me start praying and reading every morning first thing. So anyways, being convinced that this is something that I should be doing. I started praying in the morning this past Monday. Sometimes not even getting out of bed till I had gone through my list. After just four days in with this new habit, God works it out so that I get this domain name.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.
Even a really cool domain name.
And in a very surreal fashion—I’m reminded of this old Proverb, "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches…"
