Checking in. Suddenly 30 AU

Hello everyone! I know this verse has been dead for the last a while now (I apologize for my part in it grinding to a halt. I was on a complete writing hiatus for a few months and then things with mom I just... yeah I haven't written anything in a while really), but we would like to get this verse going once more.

Veronika is busy with very important exams until November 4th, so I was thinking of November 11th as a possible re-start date. That gives her a week to relax after the exams and get resettled into RPing. Anyone interested could get posts going sooner than that if they want. I was just thinking of that as a... goal date to get things going by.

I would like to get a headcount going to see who would like to continue with the verse. Excluding Veronika and I, anyone who I know no longer plays their characters on tumblr, and Kelly (since she told me of her intentions for this verse previously) this was the most recent character list:

Elena took a deep breath in, she had become more bold since she had known her and it only became better each time they were together. Elena left a soft kiss on the others lips. Her hands moved lightly against Nik’s chest, teasing her. “It’s hard to sneak up on you and I needed to see you” She admitted. Her friends had been so protective, but they didn’t even know about her yet.

Nik exhaled a slow sigh, just barely managing to bite back a soft moan.  As her lips met Elena's, she turned -- albeit with a tiny bit of reluctance -- taking the brunette in her arms.  The hybrid made a mental note to make more effort to allow Elena to "startle" her in the future, before refocusing on the doppelgänger before her.  Her brows drew together in concern at that statement, and she pulled back to look at the brunette properly.  "Is something wrong, love?"

"Someone’s going to hear us!"

"Then let them," she murmured against Elena’s lips between kisses, before shifting lower, scraping blunt, human teeth across her collarbone.  "Let them find us, and know that you are mine, not anyone else’s.”

Firm Kiss        How was it so compelling to not look away from the doppelganger, all their faces were alike and yet each had their own unique ways being the hybrid he couldn't shake off that eery feeling. Klaus took a step towards the the human his hand snaked around her neck pulling the body towards him their lips met and he kissed her tenderly showing that he was being emotional pulling away allowing both to react to his action.

   Maybe minutes, maybe hours. She didn't know how long her gaze had been drawn to the array of trees in thought. No Trevor. No Slater. No Katerina. The trudging footsteps throughout the Salvatore residence could be easily heard and just as easily identifiable— Elena Gilbert. However, Rose only cantered her head to acknowledge the doppelganger when she heard they entered the doorway. Her voice -with its timbre of precise annunciation- no longer echoed, but barely left her lips. 

              "Damon and Stefan are out. They shouldn't be long." Babysitting duty.

Katherine jumped from the nick in her skin. “Ow.” Her hand reached up to touch the spot Elena’s mouth had been suckling, pulling it away to reveal the blood on her fingertips. She licked it off quickly and smirked, then flipped them around and tugged Elena’s head back by her hair to expose her neck. “Let me show you how it’s done.” She purred before sweeping her tongue up the curve of her neck and going about marking her.

Transforming ~ whenmemoriesreturn

  Bright, painful, sun. That's all she remembered of waking up that day. It was burning. It hurt. Pushing herself away from the sun rays, she huddled into a corner. Looking around the unfamiliar and seemingly well-kept abandoned home, she saw her. She saw the witch and human she had drained last night. She shut her eyes and remembered it all too vividly. Someone, a man, came and got her. He kidnapped her. 

She remembered every little thing he did to her. He forced her to drink his blood, snapped her neck. She woke up to a witch doing a spell on her. Opening her eyes again, she saw the vile once full of another type of blood. She remembered drinking it, or being forced to. She recalled the witch drinking something that smelled of blood. The brunette woman was then so hungry that she tore through the witch and human that were supplied to her. Her name was Ziva David and she had been turned into a hybrid... one made of a human, cursed by a witch to never be able to break the sire bond. 

Looking around frantically, all Ziva saw were open windows and an open door letting in massive amounts of sun. She was lucky enough to have had that little corner. Panting heavily, the Israeli did the only thing she could think of in all that desperation. Scream. "HELP! Someone! Help me!" She called out with any and all strength she could muster. 

"SOMEBODY! Help me!  With that, she ceased her vehement yells, not thinking anyone had heard. The hybrid had no idea that none other than Elena Gilbert would be walking just close enough to hear the yells.
