I finished Obsidio last night by @amiekaufmanauthor and @misterkristoff. I loved every moment of it. I’m not going to say much more because of spoilers, but I am incredibly happy and heartbroken that it’s over. Can’t wait to hear the audiobook and relive it all! . . . ‪20 Jun 2017.‬ It’s #WorldRefugeeDay, and I feel like it needs more attention than ever. This issue is not something that I’ve seen depicted in too many contemporary YA books, but @RandaAFattah’s #WhenMichaelMetMina was absolutely spectacular. This is a book anyone can read, and it’s a book that I feel all Australians SHOULD read. I would very much like to see this book become part of the high school curriculum one day. Any book recommendations for this topic?
