Happy book birthday to When We Left Cuba by @chanelcleeton!! Thank you to @berkleypub for gifting me this copy ❤️ . I started this one last night and it had everything I loved so much from Next Year in Havana (which was a five star read for me). There’s still the gorgeous writing, the realistic characters, and a story that just leaps off the page. There’s also intrigue and romance and history. I’d highly recommend both of these books if you like historical fiction or contemporary novels! . I’ll leave the summary below in case you want to check it out! . Summary: Beautiful. Daring.
