I don't know who I am, who I am, without you. All I know, is that I should.
Missy Higgins (Where I Stood)
There were sounds in my head
Little voices whispering
That I should go and this should end
Oh, and I found myself listening
'Cause I don't know who I am, who I am without you
All I know is that I should
where i stood (missy higgins cover)
'Cause I don't know who I am, who I am without you.

Covering one of my old-time favorites: Missy Higgins’ “Where I Stood.”
It took me a few tries because I kept messing it up. Either my fingers would get “pluck-happy” (haha) or I would get too emotional and mess it up. This was the closest I could get to completing a decent video, and I still messed up the second chorus and the end a bit.
The guitar has been very helpful as an outlet for me. I’ve been writing new music - I finished one song and I have three others still in the works. The down side is I’m having a hard time getting actual work done once I’m holding my guitar because I don’t notice the time when I’m playing and the next thing I know is it’s dark out.
I also need a decent condenser mic for recording this stuff. The camera I can borrow from my cousin. I’ll get one sometime this month so I can get more decent recordings of these covers and originals. I might as well make the most of this emotion-powered surge of creativity.

All I know is that I should
'Cause she will love you more than I could
She who dares to stand where I stood"
