Dear Diary, Let Me Rant A Moment.

Sometimes I wish I had a superpower.

That superpower would be mind-reading.

That way I wouldn’t have to wonder what the hell he’s thinking. Texting and calling every day one week, sending links to new songs and artists he thinks I might like, inviting me out to dinner.. to ignoring my texts and being short with me the next week.

This has been going on for almost a year now. Hanging out nearly every weekend with mutual friends, getting drunk and flirting but never overstepping that invisible boundary. Maybe I’m just not what he’s looking for. Maybe we’re destined to just be friends. Fine, cool, but STOP this whole mixed signal bullshit.

So, yeah, I did hook up with an older friend last weekend during an unusually (for me) vulnerable and needy time. I was drunk, but I won’t blame it on that because I knew what I was doing. I was enjoying the attention, the feeling of being wanted. It’s something girls like me sadly don’t get often, so I went with it and had a good time.

Let him know about it over dinner Sunday night.. he laughs. But there was a moment of intense eye contact that literally gave me chills. Maybe it was because I was still hungover, I don’t know. He’s so hard to read.

Oh well, it will all turn out one way or another in the end.

On another note, I’m happy to be back on tumblr. Since I now have a tablet instead of a raggedy piece of shit desktop, I can actually be involved on here more. So let the following begin! :)
