Mo is found sobbing on the floor by one of the vets with both rookie pups trying to cuddle him "I'm too young I can't protect them look at them" *Mitch tries to aggressively cuddle Mo and falls over* *Auston whines* *Mo cries more*

Mo feels the stress of being a dad to both the human rookies and their puppy transformations. It’s a lot of work, caring for dogs that small and cute

ON THE OTHER HAND. we know how hyper human Mitch is, imagine that in puppy form, its a good thing there are enough rookies to tire him out "NO MITCH DONT EAT COACH'S SKATE" (I don't know why my mind went from "Awww Cutte puppy Mitch" to "There must be sadness".)

THERE IS NO SADNESS.

Puppy Mitch is a small delightful bundle of fur and goodness and he likes to help Freddy pick up after practice by fetching pucks. Except it’s slow going since he can’t hold more than one in his mouth at a time

When he was injured he was basically full time puppy and someone had to carry him from place to place. He tried to hide in the gear bag. Mo's dad instincts were on overdrive.

Oh my god dad Mo trying to dig the team puppy out of the gear bag. Mitch whining softly and licking Mo’s hand when Mo reaches in to pet and comfort him. Poor baby

Tiny blue eyed husky puppy Mitch who likes attention from his team mates. He turns into the puppy mostly after losses but also when he determines that His Team Needs Cuddles.

Omg yes and at first the Leafs are a little confused bc no one told them the little guy would turn into a dog, but they’re all dog people so they appreciate getting to cuddle him. When he’s sad after a loss he goes into a corner and turns and curls up all sad, and someone will come sit with him and rub the soft fur between his ears and listen to him whine sadly as he puts his head on their knee. Little puppy Mitch!!!!
