I’m glad to hear at least the the worst-case scenario rumors are not true.
Okay, first things first. As a Babymetal fan, I’m just as upset as anyone else about Yui’s lack of appearance the other night and just as concerned about her health. HOWEVER, people need to calm down. Rumors are being spread and it’s getting out of hand. Don’t blame the girls for what is happening, don’t blame the back-up dancers. Don’t shout at them onstage, hold up signs, or provoke them. Don’t blame anyone. I spent a shit-ton if money just like anyone else and this is my first BM concert so of course I’m a little disturbed by all the talk. However, let’s just be patient and see what happens. I doubt that Koba has any ill-will or intentions regarding these girls. Though I wish an announcement would have been made about her not performing that evening, I understand why something may not have been said due to privacy restrictions on disclosing the details of someone’s health. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this is actually going to be tied into the lore in some way. Let’s just stay unified, okay? We’re “The One” and this is splitting everything in two.
