For the WIP Wednesday thing, may I express my intrigue for Tattoo artist AU and also that I am very impressed with the spreadsheet system

Absolutely! And do please understand that the spreadsheet system is entirely so that I can put off having to come up with titles for my fics! XD

The tattoo artist AU is probably the most officially-researched fic I’ve ever done, so I really hope I manage to finish it, because I have asked both a real doctor about physical symptoms of phobias, and a real psychosexual/relationship therapist about treating phobias with light BDSM. They’re both friends of mine, so it’s not quite as dramatic as I’m making it sound - but still, RESEARCH. Which I will probably totally mess up and/or ignore in the name of story, hey ho. Have a snippet!:

"You said Detective Patch sent you," she asks, finally.

"Yeah. Eudora. We used to date," he explains, which is more than he wants to say but her silence is getting to him. This, at least, gets her attention. Her eyebrows fly up, and she looks him over with renewed interest, but doesn't offer any comment. "She, um. She said you might be able to help me."

"You know you can just walk into any tattoo parlour and get a tattoo, right? That's kind of the business model."

"Yeah, I know." He sighs in frustration when she just waits. "Look, okay, I've got a phobia of needles, had it ever since I got this stupid tattoo, surprise sur-fucking-prise. Eudora said you might be able to get me through it. Make me get a new tattoo. She said that you—that you could—"

Lila laughs, sudden and unexpected, and looks down at the chair. "Oh, Eudora," she says, shaking her head. She straightens up, serious again, and snaps off her gloves. "You got a name, or am I just supposed to call you Eudora's ex?"

"Diego. Diego Hargreeves."

"Diego. I assume she told you how we met?"

"Yeah. When she was a rookie cop, she and her partner went in to break up a fight at a club. And then she went back on her own the next week, off duty...and she's been going there casually ever since."

"Something like that," agrees Lila. "I think my definition of 'casual' is different to Eudora's, but what else is new."

Diego paused, pondering this, but she didn't continue, so he cleared his throat. "So, yeah, I was talking to her about wanting to get this fixed, and she said, if I really meant it, she had a tattooist friend who might be able to help."

"Mmm." She taps her lip, thoughtfully. "Eudora knows I'm not in the habit of mixing work and play—"

"So you're not gonna do this? Jesus, fine, you could just—"

"Shut up."

He does.

"Let me get this clear: you want to play a scene, only instead of tying you up and fucking your brains out, I give you a tattoo. Is that about right?"

His breath is caught in his throat, and it takes him a second to shake the image in his head. "Yeah, that's about it."

Lila looks him over again, long and lingering, and the scrutiny makes his cheeks warm. She lets the silence drag out between them, like she's relishing it. "Okay, sure, I'm up for it. You're cute, and you look like you'd be fun to push around a little. I'll consider you Eudora's little gift." Diego swallows hard. And then she turns away, and briskly starts pulling open cupboards. "Take off your shirt, and sit in the chair."

"My shirt? The tattoo is on my arm, I could just—"

"Did I ask for your opinion, or did I tell you to take off your shirt?"

This is the least important thing to message anyone about, but I have to correct you on that German+English post you commented on. 1. the German would be "hat mich bemerkt" so mich is correct. 2. though you're right that the ge- gives an indication of a declension into past tense, it's still how most Germans who take English words that aren't yet officially "eingedeutscht" would use it. Though admittedly probably with a t on the end "ge-noticet". Take for instance the now common word "ge-addet".

I mean, I explicitly asked people to correct my grammar so you’re right to message me!  

So therefore... “Senpai hat mich genoticet *-*” ?

I love your gif sets! Especially your TUA rewatch induced Diego sets! On that note I was wondering if you are taking prompts, and if so, there are so many moments throughout both seasons where Diego is just such a loveable jerk! Maybe there'd be a set in that somewhere. Either way, love your wokr!
