I know the feeling. Shadowhunters strays SO far away from TMI though so maybe it'll be easier to separate them? Or it could be so different you don't like it, who knows. Im enjoying the whole diverse cast and bisexual/gay/pansexual/asexual representation that's going on in the show though. It's one thing that didn't happen in the books but is prominent in (esp 2A) the show.

i’m bisexual so i dig that alec (who is literally in my top 5 characters of all time) is less biphobic [altho i understand that some characters can have flaws without them being shitty people] and the simon casting is?? literally perf not to mention i mean did i mention david castro??? and also OLD SPICE GUY AS LUKE perf. the casting is excellent. i love it. (I liked Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace but u know, Dom’s warmed up to me.)

Well I don't think it's the book as much as the author, because CC is a terrible person, but I know what you feel because I originally read the books too. Though surprisingly I did end up liking the show better than the books, but that just may be a me thing ;)

See I started reading them before I knew CC had done annoying things and now I just don’t spend the money lmfao and read them from the library or download them or something but also like. I literally have to separate them in my head or I can’t watch them?? It’s a thing with all series adaptions though like if I don’t I’ll just go on and on like “that’s different from the books and that’s different and tHAT DEFINITELY DIDN’T HAPPEN” (which is what i’ve done with pretty little liars and gossip girl so i haven’t finished either lmfao) so i can’t be like “i like this one more than the other”

It’s not even that I care about Larries following me. That’s their business. What I care about is fights getting started in my inbox because they followed me for one thing, and got something completely different. This is, and will continue to be, a Narry blog that is run by someone who has no tolerance for the bullshit larries are so fond of. I don’t want it in my messages and I don’t want to see it in my activity feed. If it manages to stay that way, I’ll be fine. Otherwise, I’m going to lose my shit.

I don’t have skills. I just have an incessantly vocal muse. And I love your story, so don’t discount yourself. We have different writing styles, but neither is better or worse than the other.
