Social Media!

Since Tumblr is kinda shipwrecking, and since many asked me where I’ll go, these are all the social accounts I run at the moment! 

Mind that some of them are quite new, so if you can’t see all my works on there, or the page might look blank, it’s just a matter of time! I’m gradually uploading my content on every social media, so give me a little more time to transfer everything and be more active.

I’m also activating a Tumblr side blog to post only art (since my shitposting can be kinda embarrassing. I want to spare you the trouble of seeing strange animals mewling, seals squeaking and sheep tornados). I’ll reblog it from my main as soon as it’ll be active and functional!

I’ll keep posting art on here as well, at least safe for work arts, if Tumblr policy won’t make it impossible.

My Shakira doll is now complete! I added the feathers on her top that I made and I repainted her belt and necklace to give it the metal accents. I made her a bracelet and a beaded chain of feathers to go on the side of the belt. Her hair was cut and braided to give a crimped look. I also repainted the strings silver on her guitar to make it look cooler!

Wherever, Whenever - Yoongi

You were curled up under your heaviest blanket, sick as a dog, when you finally gathered the energy to unlock your phone and dial his number.

“Hello?”

“...Can you do me a favor?”

Maybe it was the rasp in your voice that alerted Yoongi to the seriousness of the situation but you heard him toss a Hold on, guys over his shoulder and the background noise died down a bit.

“Are you sick, babe?”

You coughed. “Maybe a little.”

“That doesn’t really sound like ‘a little’ to me. I’m coming over.”

“No - what if you get sick too?”

He was quiet for a moment, then, “Then what was the favor you wanted to ask me?”

You cursed inwardly, then conceded. “I was just wondering if you would be so kind as to bring me some chicken noodle soup.”

“So you were going to ask me to come over.”

“Don’t make fun of me,” you whined. “I’m sick.”

He laughed, and you felt a little bit better just hearing it. “Okay, okay. I’ll be there as soon as possible, okay? Don’t die before I can hold you in my arms à la Romeo and Juliet.”

This time it was you laughing, before you dissolved into another fit of coughing.

“But really,” he insisted, his voice serious this time, “ hold on a bit, I’ll be there soon.”

You must have fallen asleep between the time he hung up and the time he got to your place because suddenly you were being lifted up, propped up with pillows.

You felt his hand on your forehead.

“You’re really sick, are you sure I shouldn’t be taking you to the hospital?” Yoongi asked you, his concern palpable even as his voice remained even.

“I’m fine,” you insisted weakly. “And I hate hospitals.”

He sighed.

“I know.”

He climbed into bed next to you and gently tugged you into his lap, wrapping the blankets back around you.

“Are you sure you want to be so close?” you asked him, looking up. “I don’t want to get you sick too.”

“Of course I’m sure,” he replied, carefully opening up the container of soup so as not to spill, and gently placing it next to the two of you.

“Open up,” he said, and you wordlessly complied, relishing in the warmth of the hot soup as it traveled down your throat.

“Thank you,” you whispered, tucking your head into the crook of his neck.

“You’re so very welcome,” he chuckled. “Just get better soon.”

“And sorry,” you mumbled.

“Sorry for what?” he asked, surprise tinting the edge of his voice.

“For being such a hassle.”

He sighed.

“What do I always tell you?”

You whined, feeling petulant and shy, hiding your face in the fabric of his shirt.

“What do I always tell you?” he insisted gently.

“... Wherever, whenever,” you muttered into his shirt.

“That’s right, baby.” he smiled.

“Wherever, whenever.”

Rushing up the hallway with five minutes to spare before class began, you flung open the door to your lab and were about to trip into a seat when the graduate student instructor suddenly blocked you way.

“What do you think you’re wearing?’

“Wha - ? Hello to you too, Sungkyu. I - “ you looked down. “Fuck.”

“You can’t come in here looking like that. Better find someone to save you, quick. You’ll miss the quiz.”

As you looked back down at the skirt you had on, you inwardly groaned. Of all the days to try to look cute, a day where you needed to be covered completely for class was a bad choice. You briefly considered not taking the quiz and just not going to lab that day, but it was nearing the end of the semester and you needed to keep your grade as high as possible.

Panicking, you dug out your phone and scrolled through the contacts. Who would possibly have extra clothes on them at this time?

“Hey, are you okay?”

You looked up to find your best friend gazing at you with concern.

“Jimin? What are you doing here?”

“I just finished a tutoring session and was about to leave. Why aren’t you going inside?”

As you registered the pair of sweats he was wearing, an idea slowly dawned upon you and you grabbed his hand.

“Listen,” you began as you tugged him towards the bathrooms, “I need a huge favor.”

The confusion on his face cleared up into an uncomfortable reticence as you explained your dilemma to him.

“So… you want me… to wear your skirt... while you borrow my sweats... so you can take your quiz?...”

“Please! Please please please pretty please! I’ll feed you after! I just need to take my quiz…” You put on your best puppy eyes.

Jimin looked at you for a few seconds, then sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

“Okay, okay. Fine. But you better not take days and you had better not leave with my sweats. I will actually murder you. Come on,” he exhaled in defeat as he ushered you into the brand new gender inclusive bathroom that your school had just opened up.

He ducked into a stall and handed you his sweats, which you gratefully accepted. In the stall next to his, you changed into the warm material, and handed him your skirt under the divider.

Jimin heaved yet another sigh as he took the soft fabric from you, and you fought the urge to giggle.

“I think I’ll just sit here till you get back,” he expressed, half to himself and half to you.

“Thank you so much!” you called backwards as you exited the bathroom. You caught a barely enthused “You’re welcome…” as the door closed behind you and you hurried to take your quiz.

As you fell into your seat, Sungkyu eyed you suspiciously. “I’m not sure where you found those pants, but congrats, you made it.”

You smiled at him brightly. “Don’t sound so sad about it, jerk.”

“Whatever.” He turned to the rest of the class. “You have 15 minutes to complete this quiz, turn it in when you’re done.”

You blazed through the quiz because let’s face it, Sungkyu wasn’t the most creative question-asker. You were sure you’d done well as you placed the paper in front of him and smiled as you pranced out the door. Sungkyu was a good teacher, but sometimes he was such a grumpy old man you just had to mess with him.

You were about to walk out of the building when you caught sight of your reflection. Oh my god, you thought, I wore this kind of outfit today? And then it hit you like a ton of bricks - Jimin was still waiting for you inside the bathroom.

You rushed back, flinging the door open and scaring the hell out of someone who was exiting. Apologizing as you tripped towards Jimin’s stall, you mentally berated yourself.

Finally, you knocked on his door.

“Jimin?”

“About time! Hurry up and give me my pants back.”

You laughed, walking into the stall next to his and returning his sweats. When he gave you back your skirt, you readjusted your outfit and smiled. This was what you were supposed to look like.

The two of you exited the stalls at the same time, and All Jimin did was give you a baleful glance.

“Oh, don’t look like that!” you whined as you looped an arm through his. “Isnt’ this what best friends are for?”

He sighed. “Maybe if I weren’t so nice to you, you wouldn’t be so mean to me.”

“I’m not mean,” you insisted seriously as the two of you walked out of the building. “I’m really very thankful of what you sacrificed today for me. I promise.”

Jimin looked at you sideways, looking thoroughly unconvinced.

“I’m really serious!” you pouted, and he laughed.

“Yeah, yeah, I get it. You’re always welcome to borrow my pants in a pinch.

“Wherever, whenever.”

You laid on your back, gazing up at the plaster ceiling, looking for shapes in the odd, crumbly surface.

Surely you were going to fall asleep anytime now. Time had been crawling by while you waited for slumber to claim you, but to no avail. Surely now, as the sun’s rays were just barely creeping around the edges of your window, you were going to be able to go to sleep.

You rolled over to pick up your phone.

Five in the morning. Of course it was this time already. What were you going to do?

Unlocking your phone, you scrolled right to his name.

Y: You up?

The reply was almost immediate.

N: What kind of question is that?

Y: Sorry. Can I join you?

N: Yeh. The roof.

You would’ve smiled to yourself if you weren’t so tired. Of course he was on the roof. It was his thinking spot. And of course he was awake - when did his brain ever let him rest?

Throwing a blanket over yourself and wrapping it around you so you could become a walking burrito, you grabbed your key and slowly waddled your way out the door.

You made your way to the elevator, thankful that no one else was awake at this ungodly hour - not that anyone would have judged you, of course. This was college after all, everyone was walking around looking strange, especially between the hours of 12 and 8 am. If you had to go to class before 8 then you got a free pass on whatever you were wearing, guaranteed.

At this thought, you chuckled to yourself, remembering that once Namjoon came to your 7AM class in his pajamas and mismatched socks - they weren’t even the same length.

The elevator dinged and you looked up at the dark stairway in front of you. The roof was technically off-limits and “dangerous” so none of the residents were supposed to go there, but what did they expect when they never locked this door or made this floor inaccessible by elevator unless you had a special key?

You shook your head. Sometimes you wondered what administrators and facilities staff were thinking. They were dealing with college students. They should really know better.

As you stepped out into the brisk morning air, you breathed in sharply. You were more awake than ever, watching your breath form tiny clouds of condensation in the air as you scanned the roof for Namjoon.

“Over here,” you heard his voice, coming from the left. And sure enough, there was a stray arm, waving from behind a vent.

You picked your way over to him, careful not to step in any errant puddles or trip over any of the HVAC piping. You wrinkled your nose as you got closer.

He was smoking.

You sighed as you sat down next to him, slightly unwrapping yourself so you could throw a corner of blanket over his legs.

He took the cigarette out of his mouth and exhaled, away from you.

“Thanks.”

“You’re welcome,” you replied. “Those things will kill you, you know.”

“How could I forget? You remind me every time,” he countered without malice, then quickly extinguished the offending object.

He leaned his head back against the vent, gazing up at the sky, his legs stretched out in front of him as he played with the lighter in his hands. You settled in next to him, comfortably leaning your head on his shoulder,  the rest of you still swathed in your blanket.

After a beat of silence, you asked him, “What was it today?”

“The value of health, and its insignificance.”

You pondered for a second, then simply made a noncommittal noise.

He chuckled, the bass of his voice traveling through you. “Just think about it.”

You made a face even though he couldn’t see you. “No thanks, I already am not getting enough sleep. If I think even half as much as you I might as well just forego all rest.”

Namjoon didn’t reply, instead focusing on the flickering and alternating flame of his lighter.

“What about you?” he asked softly, careful not to push too hard.

“Don’t you lose every time you care more than the other person?”

He sighed, but didn’t answer, knowing that it was more a rhetorical question than anything else. He simply slung an arm around your shoulder, pulling you a little closer, to offer warmth and comfort.

There was a short eternity, as the two of you watched as the sun slowly asserted its dominance over the sky, existing in a limbo untouched by time.

It was you who broke the silence.

“Thank you, Joonie.”

“For what?”

“Allowing me to take up the space next to you.”

“You’re always welcome to occupy the emptiness by my side.

“Wherever, whenever.”
